So since I have a lot of characters I have decided to stop making a plot page for each one and simply make a place where I keep them all. So here is a list of my characters and a brief introduction to them. There is also a link to their profile and then you can just post here if you have specific or cool plots in mind :lol:



This is Katerina, or Katya as she is called by her family or even Kate as many English people call her. She is from Russia and is a Jew. She is also an indentured servant and works in the Dancing Fairy. She is a shy person and doesn’t really dare to speak up if something is bothering her. She has a brother in the British Navy and she fears both water and dogs.

This is Marie Joséphine de la Bastide, she is the daughter of the former French Governor and engaged to the French officer Giles Laurent. She is a nice and friendly person but on occasion it have proven difficult for her to socialize with people of this new alliance as she speaks very little English. She is very patriotic and while she doesn’t like to see her fiancé leave for duty, she understands why he must.

This is Sara, the closed pirate doctor. She is very serious and quite good at her job. At least when it comes to treating people. Her sword fighting could be better and only succeeds because most people are surprised that she can actually fight a little. Her skills with firearms though would only make people shake their heads and while Sara would never admit it, she is probably a bit scared of them.

This is Joanna, daughter of the British admiral and she is by no means like most other noblewomen. Joanna prefers to do a lot of things herself and doesn’t mind working for it. In fact working for it is just what she does. She has a tendency to sneak out of the house when her father is not as home and dress up as a slave and then spend some time among those lower classes that lives so differently from her.

This is the Sledgehammer! Lewis is a war veteran of many wars and has now finally settled down on Jamaica with his wife Hermione. However he doesn’t really spend much time caring about his surroundings or who is in them. He spends most of his time working in his shop. He is a weapon smith now and enjoys just that. He has quite a temper some days when something triggers his war memories.

Hermione Sledge is the wife of the British Weapon smith Lewis, but she spends most of her time away from him. She has always suffered from a bit of vanity and often enjoyed being in male company so she could receive compliments that she failed to receive from her husband. She is a nice person but will often prefer male company rather than a talk with other women. She is one who enjoys wearing revealing dresses for this very reason.

Nicole here is a streetrat. While she does all she can to seem like a proper girl while at home, she is desperate to find the money that can give her parents a good life. So while she works somewhere for a stable income, she also steals and prostitutes herself in order to get what she needs. She often feels very guilty because she knows what she does is wrong, but she also feel that she has to do it.

This is William, a British Royal Navy Officer who is very dedicated to his duty and the fight to keep his county and its inhabitants safe. He is a ‘lead by example’ kind of man and while he has no problem punishing his men, he would prefer teaching with skills and words rather than a whip. He is also very formal and would never address people improperly and expects to be addressed properly in return.

This is Nita. She is a Venetian girl working as a laundress in Jamaica and she is very poor just like so many others from her social class. However she keeps her spirit up and gladly works several hours each day in order to do her part in feeding the small family. She is definitely a team player. But of course she has a shadow side. She in a spy and information broker for the pirates. Now who would have guessed that?

As a former French Naval Fusilier, Nicolas knows a lot about the strategy used in ship to ship battle and he is very proficient in the use of various weapons. However a combination of his lust for adventure and his annoyance with the low pay of being a soldier, Nicolas has sought out the Pirates in Tortuga looking to be a soldier of fortune rather than a soldier of France. He is a nice guy and will most likely always stand up for those in need.

The Grey Traveler is a figure known by many all over the Caribbean. But few know any more than simply his appearance or the few stories he might have told when staying in one inn for the night. He is said to speak every language on God’s earth but that may just be an exaggeration. He is easy to recognize, either by his long grey beard or the unmistakable cough from when he smokes his pipe. His deep rumbling voice will often give good advice or cheer up those who seem down.

Leon de Sorel is the new French Governor and he is a bit of an ‘Uncle Scrooge’. He is incredibly wealthy but does not see any reason why he should help anyone else. Especially not now when the world has taken his most precious thing away. His oldest son. Leon is a heartbroken man and he has almost pushed the rest of his family away in his grief. He is humorless and is to be approached with caution.

This is Christine, she is the daughter of the French Governor and his exact opposite. She is friendly and usually happy. She loves her family, even her father, though it is hard at times. She is what would be called a hippie today. She loves the wild and enjoys spending her time in the nature. She is also very much against war and any kind of armed conflict. She feels that some better solution have to exist.

This is James Burns, or Ol’ One Eye as he is more commonly called. He is a battle-hardened man who started out his seafaring life in the navy but after his ship was defeated in battle the surviving sailors were offered a place on a pirate ship. Since then he has been fighting against the crown, actually against any crown with the personal motto: No-Retreat, No-Surrender. He is a storyteller and enjoys sharing great tales with people. In fact he is quite good with word after having told many tales in his life.

Who the Hell did you think you were going to plot with here? Michael is a Navy Chaplain and while he from early on in his life was quite devoted to Christianity, he had lost a lot of his faith due to seeing all the death and destruction that navy battles and war brings along. While it might not sound odd for a navy man to swear and curse, it does from a priest. Michael also has an unholy liking for alcoholic beverages and women. While he is a man of God and does a lot to convince him that he still believes, he is certainly not the ideal man to wear the robes of the Church of England.
