What I have so far, these will probably get changed in places at some point...

Shuzo sat there, feeling extremely awkward in the presence of Kyoji and his new little boyfriend. He couldn't even look at the two of them, it was just painful. He sat there next to Takumi, staring at the ground, not saying a word and barely listening to Takumi talking quietly to the one's causing Shuzo's odd behavior.
Shuzo did sneak a few glances at Kyoji though, taking in his new appearence. He looked good, the new clothes looked a lot better on him than what he'd had before.
He looked up quickly when he heard the shop door's open, making sure it wasn't Yuu. He just couldn't shake that freak lately. The dude had been following him for days now, trying to convince Shuzo that they should become partners in crime, then Shuzo would catch the taller man looking at him in a way that just freaked the shit out of the smaller blonde.
He gave a sigh of relief when it turned out to be just another happy fucking couple coming through.
-------
Takumi noticed Shuzo tensing up, and looked over at him. "What's wrong Shuzo-kun?"
"Nothing," came a mumbled reply, the blondes eyes sliding back to the floor, his head bowing down.
"It's not nothing," Takumi frowned. "What's got you so scared?"
-------
Shuzo crossed his arms and tried desperately to hunch in on himself. "It's just Tanaka."
"But you're not usually afraid of him."
"That was before he wanted to be partners and started looking at me funny," Shuzo replied.
-------
Akira's eyes flew up and his mouth dropped open. "He... he wants you now?"
"Apparently," was muttered. "S'been following me for a couple days."
Akira bit his lip and slouched down in his seat. Of course, he hadn't been what Yuu had wanted, Shuzo was what the older man wanted.
-------
Kyoji watched Shuzo in puzzlement. The blonde was acting completely unlike himself and here he was afraid of Yuu, something Kyoji never thought he'd see.
"Is that why you've been trying to sleep on my couch?" he heard Takumi say with a smile.
There was just a nod from the blonde and Kyoji realized that the two weren't actually together. They seemed to be more like friends now than anything more.
The next second, he was surprised by Shuzo pulling out a small wad of cash and handing it to Takumi.
-------
"Here," Shuzo muttered.
"What's that for?" the elegant man asked, taking it gingerly.
"Rent or whatever," Shuzo replied, starting to stand. "I'm.. just gonna go sleep or something."
-------
"Why don't you stay?" Takumi asked, not wanting Shuzo to leave. He knew the poor boy was miserable and wasn't living to a proper standard anymore. He wasn't even sure the boy'd eaten for a couple days. "I'll get you something to eat."
"No, I'm not hungry," Shuzo said, his stomach's growling quickly betrayed him though. Takumi could see Kyoji was watching the blonde intently and it was making Shuzo clearly uncomfortable.
"Shuzo-kun, I know you haven't been eating. Either you sit down, shut up, and eat what I order, or I'll force feed you myself."
-------
Kyoji could see it now that he knew it was happening. There were dark circles around the blonde's eyes, and he looked almost sunken in and weak. "You haven't been feeding, have you?" he asked quietly.
Shuzo looked up at him, sharply, surprised the brunette had even said one word to him. He just shrugged, awkwardly, and quietly said, "What's the point?"
"What's the point?" Kyoji asked, his mouth open in shock. He narrowed his eyes, and suddenly stood up and started smacking Shuzo wherever he could.
-------
"Hey!" Takumi said, jumping up. He grabbed Kyoji's hands and held them up, looking down at Shuzo to make sure he was alright. The blonde was just sitting there, seemingly unaffected. "What was that for?"
"He's making me care, that's why!"
"Well, hitting him's not going to help at all!" Takumi said, forcing Kyoji back into his seat. Turning around, he took Shuzo's arm and stood him up, "Come on, I'm getting you something to eat."
-------
Akira watched, wide-eyed, as the two went over to the counter. Shuzo looked worse than Akira had felt when he'd left Yuu.
"Kyoji-kun," he said, quietly. "Why don't you help him get home and get him fed?"
"What?!" Kyoji was looking at him like Akira had just lost his mind. "Akira, you don't-"
"No, Kyoji-kun," Akira said, sounding more firm than he ever had.. maybe in his life. "You should, and you know it. I'll be fine, and he needs you anyways."
-------
Kyoji stared at Akira for a moment, he couldn't really do that... He just couldn't. But Akira was insisting... and when Kyoji looked over to the counter where Takumi stood with a supporting arm around Shuzo. "You really mean it, Aki-chan?" he asked very quietly.
The younger quickly nodded and Kyoji sighed. "Alright, but you know I'll be checking up on you too." Akira just nodded at him again and Kyoji stood up.
Takumi and Shuzo had come back from the counter, and Kyoji reached out, taking Shuzo's sleeve. "Come on, you're going home and feeding."
-------
Takumi looked at Kyoji surprised, "What?"
"I'm taking him home and making him feed."
"And you're doing that why?" Takumi asked slowly, already getting a hint of what was going on, judging by the look on Akira's face. "None of your business," Kyoji replied.
Takumi just nodded, staring at the brunette for a moment. "Just make sure he sleeps," he finally said, sitting back down, across from Akira.
-------
"I thought you said he'd been sleeping on your couch," Kyoji asked, puzzled and still holding Shuzo's sleeve. He didn't notice how the blonde was staring down at his hand, dumbly, in shock.
"He sleeps each day for an hour, maybe. Then he just gets up and sits there till sun down, like a zombie," Takumi said, taking a drink from his hot chocolate.
Kyoji nodded, "Fine, he'll sleep." Looking to Akira he smiled, and then looked up to Shuzo before pulling him out of the shop, "Let's go, baka."
QUOTE
Shuzo walked up the steps to his apartment, stiffly. He was uncomfortable and nervous, all because Kyoji was following right behind him, silent as death. Shuzo had his hands shoved in his pockets, head down and eyes on the floor unless needed looking up.
Reaching his door, Shuzo turned around and scratched the back of his head, not daring to actually look at Kyoji. "Yuu's not here, and I'm fine, so go home," he muttered, just wanting Kyoji to leave, but really wanting him to stay at the same time.
-------
"Open the door, Shuzo," Kyoji said, giving him a stern look. "Now."
"Seriously, you don't have to stay, I know you'd rather go."
"Just open the fucking door, baka," he growled out. It was really starting to get on his nerves how Shuzo was acting.Kyoji never thought he'd say it, but he really wanted the shitty, annoying Shuzo back.
-------
Shuzo reluctantly turned around, dug out his keys and unlocked the door to his apartment. He trugded inside and let Kyoji follow him in.
The place looked trashed. It wasn't as if things were destroyed, but things had been left out, like drinks and plates that hadn't been picked up afterwards. The carpet was obviously dirty from not having been vaccumed or anything, simply because Shuzo never spent time here anymore, and if he did it was an in and out thing and straight back to Takumi's.
-------
Shuzo had sat himself down on the couch, tense and ready to get up at any second, completely unlike the carefree, lounging positions Kyoji was used to.
Sighing, Kyoji quickly went into the kitchen, knowing that there was blood in the fridge. There always was, even if by now it was probably old, the idiot would have to drink it down anyways. He grabbed a carton in the fridge and came back out into the living room. Opening it up, Kyoji held it out to Shuzo.
"Drink it," he ordered.
--------
Shuzo looked up at the carton and shook his head, "I don't want any, really."
"Drink it down or I force it down," was growled at him, angrily. Shuzo looked up at Kyoji for the first time all night, and was surprised by how upset the brunette seemed. He hesitated for moment, trying to figure out what was going on, but finally put his head back down and took the carton.
"Fine."
--------
Kyoji didn't move from his spot as he watched Shuzo drink down the whole thing with a grimace. "That's what you get for only having old blood in the fridge," he muttered, looking around. "And you've really let this place go to shit."
He noticed Shuzo shrug, and rolled his eyes. "Well, get up," he said. "You need to sleep."
--------
"But... I'm not tired," Shuzo lied. He was tired, his whole body ached, had been for days. His bones hurt, almost crying out to just be dropped to the ground and laid to rest, while his muscles screamed for rest, relaxation, and nutrition; none which he'd been supplying.
"Don't care, you're sleeping."
Shuzo dumbly allowed himself to be pulled up, and then gently pushed down the hall into the bedroom.
--------
Kyoji manuvered the blonde's weak body into the bedroom, noticing that both beds looked like they hadn't been touched for weeks. Shuzo must have noticed him looking, because he looked away, muttering, "I don't like being in here that much anymore."
"Right," Kyoji said, awkwardly. He stood there a moment before he let out a sigh and turned to Shuzo. He'd started unzipping the jumpsuit the blonde had on when a shaking hand stopped him. "What're you doing?"
"I'm trying to get this thing off you so it can be washed, plus it's probably not the best thing to sleep in," he said, not looking up to meet Shuzo's eyes. He really didn't want to look at the other man right now. "Don't argue."
--------
Shuzo didn't say anything else. He stood there and watched while Kyoji pushed the jumpsuit off and down, Shuzo taking the obligatory step back so the brunette could pick up the large garment. Shuzo just stood there again, staring blankly at Kyoji, and waiting for what he was supposed to do next.
--------
Kyoji tossed the jumpsuit onto what had been his bed and looked back at Shuzo. He almost regretted that, the blonde looked almost horrifyingly sickly. His ribs were jutting out, barely any muscle visible on his body anywhere. Shuzo just stood there, looking at nothing; that and his appearence made him look on the verge of death.
Kyoji closed his eyes for a moment, trying to shake that image from his mind. He didn't want to keep it, Shzuo wouldn't be that way for long, hopefully. He pointed to the bed and finally looked up at Shuzo, "So... go to sleep."
Shuzo shuffled his way towards the bed and Kyoji watched as he got into the bed, laying down and looking up at him. Kyoji sighed and moved to sit down next to the blonde on the bed. "You're gonna stay here?" Shuzo asked him with a quiet, surprised voice.
"Well, if I leave you probably won't sleep, will you?" At Shuzo's look down, he nodded. "Yeah, so I'll just stay here till you do and then we'll see."
-------
Shuzo layed there, quiet for a moment. He really didn't want to go to sleep, if he did then Kyoji would leave and Shuzo honestly didn't want him to, no matter what his pride wanted to believe. "I don't think I can sleep, I'm not tired," he lied, not looking up at the brunette.
"Turn on your side."
He did and found his legs were then touching Kyoji's back, but the other man didn't move, so Shuzo didn't either. He was about to ask why he needed to be on his side when he felt a hand rubbing up and down his back in a slow, comforting motion.
-------
"Just try to sleep," Kyoji said softly, looking down at his lap. He wasn't sure what he was doing, ealier that day he'd still been mad at Shuzo for something that wasn't even really the man's fault, now here he was taking care of him.
They stayed that way for awhile, Kyoji staring down at his lap, and Shuzo slowly starting to drift off thanks to the feeling of Kyoji's hand. It was kind of nice, just having some quiet in this place, between them for once.
"I'm really sorry, you know," it came so quietly, that Kyoji snapped his head up, unsure he'd heard anything at all. He looked down at Shuzo, who was staring at the wall, looking drowsy, but still awake enough to talk. "Nani?"
--------
"I'm sorry," Shuzo repeated. For once he didn't feel like he was going to choke on the words, or throw up from the stupidity of the words. This time he really meant it. "I'd go back and change it, wouldn't get drunk, and kill Yuu like I should've a long time ago."
"Hn, that's something a lot of people should've done," Kyoji said, giving a faint smile.
"Yeah, but it was mostly me," Shuzo said, not looking at Kyoji. "If I had, then none of this woulda happened. Never would've met Takumi, never would've gotten drunk, I'd still be sleeping... and you'd still be here."
--------
Kyoji sat silent for a moment, his hand halted it's rubbing. Shuzo was about to turn over to look up at him, but he started again and managed to barely say, "Go to sleep."
They stayed that way in silence for a while, till Shuzo finally drifted off to sleep. Kyoji just sat there, thinking over things in his mind. He had something big to decide. He could swallow that pride of his that Takumi had told him only got in the way of things, or he could leave now and swear not to talk to Shuzo again.
He sighed and stood from the bed slowly, giving the sleeping blonde a glance he turned and walked out of the room. This was going to be a long night.
-------
Shuzo woke hours later to the sound of a dish falling and breaking into millions of little pieces followed by the loud swear. That wasn't really a normal thing to hear in this apartment. Usually Shuzo was alone... or just not here so the place was empty. Who could be in the apartment?
Shuzo sat up, slowly; nothing really went fast for him anymore. He was too tired most of the time, or moving fast just hurt too much. But he sat up nonetheless, and made his way out into the living room at his own pace. Halfway ou the remembered just what had happened the night before. Kyoji had been here, but did that mean he was the one in Shuzo's kitchen? No, there would be no point, he was probably still mad. It was probably Takumi trying to help in his annyoing way... although, Takumi didn't really swear... ever. So who?
He reached the kitchen and stood, basked in sudden light, his eyes trying to dialate and see who was in his fucking kitchen.
-------
Kyoji was kneeling on the floor picking up those stupid little pieces of plate that he could never really get all of whenever he broke one. He just always had to drop a plate, it never failed.
He was so busy trying to find those little bastards pieces that went under the cabinets that he didn't notice Shuzo walk in till he picked up a piece near the blonde's foot. "Shuzo!" he almost yelped, earning no reaction from the blonde. "Don't sneak up on me like that!"
QUOTE
Shuzo's foot shifted a bit when Kyoji reached for the broken piece, but he didn't move anything else. He had to say he was shocked, he didn't think Kyoji would be here, even as the previous nights events came back to his mind, he didn't think he'd wake up to Kyoji standing in this very kitchen.
"W-what are you doing here?" he breathed out.
-------
Kyoji stood up, a hand on his hip and a frown on his face. "Well, obviously I was trying to make something here and broke a plate, what else would I be doing?" he asked, frustrated. Damn plate just slipped right out of his hand.
"You should be gone... you should still be pissed at me," Shuzo replied, just staring at him.
Kyoji winced, knowing he should've been in the room when Shuzo woke so that they could talk first thing. But... this was how it was going to be. "Well," he said, slowly. "Obviously I'm not gone, I'm still a little pissed, but... I don't want to leave. I'm staying here."
-------
Shuzo could not believe his ears, he would have never thought Kyoji would forgive him, since most women were like that.
"You're going to stay, with me?" he asked, not certain. "Be here, with me?"
-------
"Well, I think that's what it means when someone says they're staying and the other person lives the-"
Kyoji was cut off by Shuzo grabbing him, pulling Kyoji close to his frail, skinny body. Kyoji was surprised by the remaining strength left to do that, but then smiled a little to himself and brought his arms up to hold the blonde close.
"Aishiteru," Kyoji's eyes widened hearing that word slip from the blonde and then felt the light weight of the body in his arms fall. He looked down at Shuzo's body, wide-eyed, then sighed, putting a hand to his forehead, "Baka, saying that and then fainting. You will feed regularly from now on!"
