This monument of land where water falls down the rocks of the steep hills is named such for the legend that fairies once birthed in the rock behind the waterfall. They were born on fire, but once they dashed through the falls for life, they were quickly extinguished. They say that the fireflies that live their now are their lost souls.

moss-covered W I N D M I L L
In the middle of the forest is a windmill made from wood that has become infested with termites and woodrot. It was a majestic piece of beauty back during World War II. However, it seems to only be glued together by the moss that has entwined itself around the decarying figure. Ivy winds itself down around the legs anchoring into the ground.

C L E A R I N G
Right smack dab in the middle of these woods is a clearing. No trees or rocks, just grass and flowers of different kinds. When it snows, it looks like a fishbowl. Sometimes ice forms on top of the packed snow, making it fun for the cubs to slip and slide around on it.
