In the chambers of a mansion belonging to a coven of vampires, one would expect nothing and no one to occupy the spaces, for very few could survive amongst the creatures. Most vampires would be aff trying to murder someone or something, and they would all come back bloody and satisfied. In the hall of this mansion, however, one vampire stood alone, her hair moving about her athletic frame, her eyes averted from others. Her hands occupied the pockets of her lowrise Levis 504's, and her halter top revealed only a little of her perfectly round, 38C cup breasts. Humans would have stopped and stared at this particular vampire ; yet, no one seemed aware of her presence. A sigh escaped her naturally tinted lips, and she whipped around at a noise made by one of the other vampires. She rolled her blueish-gold eyes, and tossed her multicoloured hair back over her shoulder, it falling in a straight waterfall to the centre of her back. "Oi, Jaceuilyne, come here!" one called to her, and she turned slowly, hissing in anger. "I thought I said never to call me that." She spat at him, turned her back, and refocusing her attention on what she had been looking at ; a picture of her coven leader and his family, before they had been murdered.

Jaceuilyne Auraeille Laevingstone was a 51 year old vampire with the looks of a 17 year old Japanese girl. Her pale skin set off her deep almond shaped eyes. Her eyes. Now, those could strike up a conversation to remember. Their electric blue and soft gold combined to make a gorgeous, twotone colour that caught the attention of many when they were outlined the way they were. A perfect ring of black eyeliner was all that outlined her eyes. Her hair was a deep red, with streaks of honeybrown, black, and bleached blonde racing through it. When she turned, the colours danced under the displacement of light. Her smile was a perfectly straight, white smile that captured and melted even the hardest heart. Etched into her skin were tattoos ; a latin inscription on her left shoulder blade, a heart with a dagger shoved through it on her right collarbone, and a bloody butterfly and blood trail on her right hip. Piercings on her navel, her tongue, the left side of her lip, along with four earrings in her right, three in her left were what made her unique. She tugged on her jeans, her chained wallet sitting in her back pocket, being hooked onto her jeans at a beltloop. Three chains graced her pants, one from her walled, the others hung from her jeans themselves.

She tore her gaze from the picture, and went to sit on the rather vicariously placed Victorian lounge, and sighed a little bit. Damn, will life always be this way? she mulled this thought over in her mind as she heard footsetps approaching her from across the room. She thought nothing of it, and waited for her company to speak. It had been a long time since Jace had moved into the Sanguinaire Mansion, on invitation from Nefas, of course, and she sometimes wondered why she had agreed. She frowned a bit, but thought nothing of it, and closed her electrifying eyes, the notes of Flyleaf's Fully Alive escaping her perfect lips. She was in perfect pitch, although her voice was barely above a whisper.

Telling Layla's story spoken
'Bout how all her bones are broken
Hammers fall on all the pieces
Two months in the cover creases

Fully alive
More than most
Ready to smile and love life
Fully alive and she knows
How to believe in futures

All my complaints shrink to nothing
I'm ashamed of all my somethings
She's glad for one day of comfort
Only because she has suffered

Fully alive
More than most
Ready to smile and love life
Fully alive and she knows
How to believe in futures

Fully alive
More than most
Ready to smile and love life
Fully alive and she knows
How to believe in futures

Fully alive
More than most
Ready to smile and love life
Fully alive and she knows
How to believe in futures

The hooded figure was no stranger in this place, this shadowed face and dark glasses with a faint white light radiating behind. He sat alone, far above on a rafter. This house was filled with passages, under and over all the other rooms. One of his favorite ways was the hall leading to the doors amongst the tallest rooms. The blinds amongst the bay windows filtered out eh UV while still letting light into this hallowed place. He looked down amongst the faces of his coven. Some smiled, others blank with no expression at all. He pulled out his lighter and flicked open the silver top. The light finding it's way to a black labeled cigarettes between his lips. He inhaled deeply and blew the smoke form his nose. He spotted one of the younger members, well not essentially young but younger, then some of his staff. He decided to pay the young one a visit. He looked for a dark corner and slipped down, landing silently. He brushed the dust from his coat and straightened his hood. He pulled at the collar of his jacket and pulled his tie perpendicular with his belt.

The coven members in his immediate area bowed their heads but he waved them off. "There is no need for that." He said quietly. He walked past many of them, his finger entwined at his front. This was a calmer day them others, the many cloaks and jackets had been taken, many of them out for the day. He had paid a tanning company to come up with a lotion to block the sun's direct rays though for the time being it was still in testing. For right now the many of the coven just hid their forms in cloaks merely for travel. He simply always wore his hood, always kept his shades always kept his hands wrapped in bandages. He was a creature of the shadows and thats the way it would stay. He continued across the large grand hall watching as the girl glanced across his family portrait. She vanished amongst the faces of the coven as he continued walking.

He eventually came to that end of the room, glancing from one corner to the other for any sign of that girl. He eventually came across her slender form laid across a lounge. He casually took a seat next to her, pulling his hood down. He smiled, pulling his sun glasses off. "You have a very beautiful voice." He simply said, his eyes moving slowly in her direction. His old fashioned sense of chivalry was authentic. He leaned back, folding the wings of his glasses and slipping it into his breast pocket. He thought back to a few months before when he had asked her to join the coven but some of the details were kind of hazy. He thought nothing of it, more along the lines of what would come of today.

Across the floor in the hand of where we drove the drill
A cautious ear to the mouth of your confession
Think of all the things we put him through
In the face of his god would he tell the truth?

Still recorded were the words that dribbled out his kiss
When eyes go blind in this man of what could once become
Sever the limbs off his torso in sleep
And burn what remains so the world may now see
No longer...will we wait for your answers
Back to the hell where you've come from
Think of all the times you've once had
Write them in a letter that says goodbye

"You have a very beautiful voice."

The younger vampire blushed lightly. Nefas never failed to flatter her, regardless of how small the praise affected. She looked down, smiling a little. Her perfect white, straight teeth were revealed for a fraction of a moment, before she looked back up at him. Her eyes asked him silently how he was doing. She had been at the ceremony honouring his parents deaths, and she had seen the unshed tears glistening in her leader's eyes. She understood what pain was like. Jace remembered barely anything about her previous life. Only about her sister and her sister's children. Jace hated being a 'monster', but she dealt with it day after day. She could never sleep, so she spent her nights in the gardens of the mansion, her fingers dancing over the brightly coloured petals of the variety of flowers that flourished there. She looked back down, realizing she had been staring. " So...what have you been up to, Nefas?" She didn't quite know why she had asked him that. Maybe it was because of him asking her to join his coven while she had still been a rogue vampire, and after her broken heart had shattered into even smaller pieces. She shook her head, her vibrantly coloured hair dancing under the lights of the great room. She realized her music still graced her ears, and she tugged the black and silver earphones out, turning the Ipod off, and storing it in the pocket of her lowrise Levi 504s.

From her well-kept, athletic figure, to her multicoloured locks, Jaceuilyne Auraeille Laevingstone was a picture of perfection. All vampires were. Except for the scars that graced their bodies. From her navel hung a barbell with a broken heart dangling off it. She ran her tongue unconciously over her lip ring, her hand going to her hair, to run through it. She turned all of the earrings in her ears, and rubbed the shoulder where her tattoo rest. She had been hit -hard - last night, by another vampire. She winced as she moved a little to sudden. "Damn it..." the curse was out of her mouth before she had realized Nefas was still standing there. She blanched at the pain in her shoulder lightly, and glanced at him. " I'm fine, Nefas. Don't worry about me." Jace reassuringly smiled, hoping to draw attention away from her wounded shoulder, not to mention her wounded pride, and glanced up at the high ceilings of the room the two occupied.

Jace had been hurt alot in her life, but not when it bruised her pride as well. She hissed a latin curse under her breath, and reclaimed her seat on the lounge, holding her shoulder lightly. For 'being fine', Jace wasn't do too good a job at portraying the false reassurance. She was a terrible liar, and one way to tel was her giggling after she lied. She was doing well at self-control, but she still slipped up at times. She pulled her hand away, discovering it was bleeding ; then froze. She bit her lip to control the sudden need to feed, and forced herself to swallow hard to stop herself from leaving her seat. She hope Nefas hadn't noticed ; because it would mean trouble if he had.

You'll listen to reason while you're face down in the dirt
You'll stomach the hurt and break for him here just how much he's worth

Slowly discarded were the remains of his lonely youth
Among the alley where the dwellers scare to notice
Picture a young boy in pieces and streets with leveled malfunctions
No name to be called redeemer
We'll fix him restore him...with the love is no other
Think of all the things you did before
Write them in a letter that says reborn

You'll listen to reason while you're face down in the dirt
You'll stomach the hurt and break for him here just how much he's worth

He smiled, his white fangs almost matching his pale skin. Her tone was soft and the way she talked even if it may have been a slip up was casual. He wasn't a big fan of the whole "Zealous Leader" look. If anything he was a quiet observer amongst the death and blood that now thoroughly coated the minds of his coven. He was no different, his parent's funeral was not too long ago and with the festival that was just around the corner he had so much on his mind. for right now though he could relax and maybe even get to know this girl.

His eyes shone slightly, the white light that danced behind his pupil focused amongst her reflection. He squeezed his index finger, sitting atop his lap as he smiled at her. Never had he met such a girl from the far east, he never had much interaction with that section of the world. He had gotten a phone call once from one of the many translators for one of the far east estates of the lord in that area, an older vampire around 500 years or older. It was something that he had lost in all his business over the past few years. He snapped back to reality as she muttered something. He chuckled softly then took her hand, kissing the back of her palm, as he was taught so long ago. "It's quite alright my dear, because that is my job after all."

His fingers gently set her hand back to it's original position. He looked deep into her eyes again and almost lost himself, the depth behind them stunned him, but then again your not supposed to look into a vampires eyes. He pulled himself back to here and now once again before looking around. the noise level was a little irritating so he turned to her, taking her hand. "Would you like to go somewhere a tad bit more private?"

"Would you like to go somewhere a tad bit more private?"

Jace glanced at her coven leader, and smiled lightly at their intertwined fingers. Her eyes flicked up to Nefas' and she nodded lightly. "[color=00ced1] Yes, lets. The noise is irritating me.
