pretty simple. please register like this: FIRST LAST. in uppercase, remember. we want everything to look really pretty and organized. if you are applying as a canon but someone else is also applying, just put a period after your name. also, if you register wrong, we’re not going to maim you. just PM one of the admins, or let us know in the c-box, and we’ll fix it up for you.

pretty straightforward, really. applications should be LAST, FIRST MIDDLE INITIAL. and please, post in the correct place. if you posted an incomplete app, just bump it when it's ready. don't go off creating another topic, because that's just silly. if you went ahead and just completed an app without stopping to post it in incomplete, put it up in the main application forum. not pending. pending is when we have read your application, and we need something tweaked. with the freestyle app, you can really let those creative juices flow. if you're stuck, then take a peek at one of the admin apps.

no mary-sues, gary-stus, or unbelievable characters. not everyone is a beautiful orphan who kicks ass and takes names. now here on BBD, we don’t have a character limit. basically, if you can handle more than one character, go for it. but to apply for a second character, you will need 30 in character posts. and by this, i don’t mean game spam. i mean legit posts. ims and notes do count, but if we see that that’s all you’re doing, we won’t be very pleased. also, if you have one female character already, your next must be a male. we will not tolerate a million vajayjays running around. that’s just boring. none of this “but i can’t play mallessss” bull. if you can’t, then don’t make another character.

basically, no Disney kids, scenesters or musicians. or frieda rose, because she specifically doesn’t want her face used. honestly, don’t be afraid to ask if you can use someone. we might not give you the answer you want, but it doesn’t hurt to ask. we’re actually quite friendly.

we’re vain, yes. we like pretty graphics, and we don’t like them stretching our board. the biggest your signature can be is 500x250. bigger than that and we will ask you to change it. avatars can be as big as 150x200, and really we would prefer that size so everything looks neat and clean. not graphic savvy? post in the graphic request board, and i’m sure someone will help you out.

no god-modding or powerplaying. here at BBD, our word count is 600. it’s really quite easy, and since this is a literate site, it’s not unreasonable at all. if your thread is getting ~naughty, then just PM one of us and we’ll put a nice little M in the title. our rating here at BBD is R-NC-17, so really, don’t be alarmed by swearing and violence. and if you don’t like it, don’t read it. or just don’t join.
