In order to get our board moving, I have decided (and I hope Gravity doesn�t mind) we are going to hold a post competition for everyone on the board. This is to promote our activity and to help us with marketing, because seriously, who wants to be on a board where no one does anything?

The rules are pretty simple. Each post (depending on what it is) earns you a certain amount of points. Also, referring someone to the AHO (meaning, tell them how awesome it is, and they join and accumulate up to 5 posts) gives you a whole bunch more points. As always, prizes will be given:

Becomes a High Writer and gets advertising of any website/board they want down by the KWC and WDG redirect forums.

The points add up thus:

For 2 Points

Posts in Writer's Chat Corner

For 5 Points

Welcoming a member in the Welcome Wagon
Posting constructive input in Member Input

For 7 Points

Help or pleas in Advice on Words
Contributing to or starting a Forum Game
Starting a contest in Writer's Contests

For 10 Points

New work by you in the Notebook
Discussing books in the Reading Forum
Work in Writer's Philosophical (doesn't have to be by you)
Entering a submission to the Submissions forum

For 20 Points

Critiquing someone else's work

For 25 Points

Referring someone to the AHO and having them post at least five times

To get the link to the post, look at the bar above your specific post (underneath the previous poster's profile bar) it says the date and time it was posted, and the says Posted. The "Posted" is a link. If you click on it a little window pops up with the URL for the site. Make a regular (NOT embedded) link to that next to the topic title of your post -OR- make the topic title an embedded link.

- If you post more than one reply to a topic that you didn't start in the Notebook or Writer's Philosophical it doesn't count.
- If you post more than your original welcome in the Welcome Wagon it doesn't count.
- If you post more than one post in Forum Games is doesn't count unless it's a second submission.
- If you submit two submissions to the Submissions forum, they both count.
- Any other posts count.

If I haven't said it already, post ONE post with the above code and just edit it as you accumulate more posts.
