-Read all of the rules first!
-Create a different account for each character.
-When signing up, use the name of your character.

-Each member is allowed two wolves in the first month. After you've been a member for a month, you can create another. After this, you have to ask permission from an admin.

-

Pertaining to... Manners toward Admins and other members.

-Do not talk back to the Admins, or make a fuss about a decision. What they say, goes. Being excessively rude will get you banned from the site, fast.
-We expect members to be polite to one another. Keep quarrels off the boards.
-If we do not accept an application, we will provide a reason. That's constructive criticism, folks, to help you improve. We aren't throwing you down and making fun of your hard work. If you act as though we do such things and throw a complete fit, don't join. We worked hard on the site, and frankly, we don't want to deal with that crap.
-If another person's wolf hates your wolf, it doesn't mean they hate you.

Pertaining to... Warnings and banning.

If you break rules, you'll get warnings. There are different levels to which warnings go, of course, there are some thing that won't get you more than a small reminder, and some things that get you banned straight away. But basically, this is how our warning system goes.

First Warning - A private message from the Admin account.
Second Warning - A one week ban.
Third Warning - Permanent IP ban.

Pertaining to... Realism.

Aspen, is, for the most part, a realistic wolf role play site.

-Eye colors, in the wild, are normally gold or brown. However, blue occasionally shows up, and green is not unheard of. We'd like at least twice as many gold/brown eyed wolves as green/blue eyed ones.
-Coat color can vary. Make sure to keep your wolf's coloring realistic to its breed.
-Same rules above apply to height and weight. Keep it realistic to breed, and definitely to wolves in general.
-If you haven't figured out from the first statement, this is realistic. That means powers, odd colors, wings, etc, is not acceptable. Never. The first word that you will be required to provide as to prove you have read both sets of rules is new.
--Jewelry is not allowed. Radio tags, tracking collars, or ear tags are, however, acceptable, as long as there is a good history behind it, and the number of tag-bearing wolves does not get too high.

Pertaining to... Content.

-No pornographic content.
This site has. no. rating! Content can vary from PG to M. It is the role player's choice what kind of rating they want for themselves.
-We allow graphic mating and fighting. However, if you are going to do a graphic mating board, put an [M] in the thread description for mature... or mating. Whichever.
-Keep in mind, when in mating threads, that these are wolves. There is a point where something goes from animalistic to humanistic. Also, though graphic breeding is allowed, there is a difference between graphic and distasteful.
