Pertaining to... The Basics.
-Powerplaying is against the rules. Doing so will get you a warning. If the owner of another character gives you permission to powerplay their wolf in a post, please include a note OOC on your post to clarify this.
-God moding is a no. Wolves give blows, and take them. If it is a pretty even match, not every attack should be dodged.
-Wolves are not perfect. People are not perfect. We don't want to see 'Crystals' that can allure any given male at any given time. Include flaws in your characters... they... well, they make things more fun!
-
Pertaining to... Posting Limits
-We like to see members posting a good three paragraphs or more, but if not, two is the limit. If you are having trouble with the dreaded 'writer's block' then describe the setting in depth, your character's feelings, or anything that can boost your post to the requirement.
-'Entrance Posts' should probably be four paragraphs minimum, but we won't be too strict on that, as long as it meets the regular three.

Pertaining to... Aquiring a mate.
-Okay. All that we ask is that your wovles don't fall in love upon the first time meeting each other. Before they even feel 'ready to be with each other' they should have at least two threads together.
-There are exceptions. Alphas and higher ranks can declare a mate whenever they wish.
-Wolves of any rank, except omega, can get a mate, but they must ask permission of the Alphas first. This, however, does not mean they are permitted to breed.
-Wolves of different packs can hook up in the unclaimed and in secrecy, but if the Alphas catch wind of this... expect trouble.
-Wolves do not have to be in love to be mates.
-
Pertaining to... Pups and Breeding
-Before your wolf gets pregnant, you must, must, must PM the Administration account and ask permission. If you fail to do so, the litter will consist of stillborns, or the mother will miscarry.
-If your mother-to-be is in a pack, it is a very wise descision to ask the Alphas for their permission. If not, the Alpha has every right to run out both of the parents. They ultimately decide if they want pups in their pack.
-The number of pups will usually depend on the rank of your wolf. Higher ranks will usually have a larger litter, while lower ranks will usually have less. This is because, basically, the pack eating order. Since higher ranks eat first, they will generally have enough food to accomidate a larger litter. Lower ranks who eat later will not always have the nutrients to supply to a large litter.
-When the mother is raped, she will normally have a litter of no more than three, and probably less.
-Pregnant loners will also have very small litters.
-Pups will go up for adoption during the winter and be born in Spring. The Admin will give a maximum number of pups for the litter. However, only the number adopted will be born. For example, if Freida's litter has a maximum of four, yet only two get adopted, Freida will only give birth to two live pups. It can be a disappointment, but even if other litters are being hit hard by a lot of adopters, we can not make people apply for certain litters if they do not want to.

Pertaining to... Fighting
-We prefer that before your wolf gets into a physical fight, that you and the other wolf's player decide who will win. If the battle stretches on for too long, the Admin can go on and decide who is going to win.
-Do NOT have your wolf inflicting but taking no damage. Most attacks require some amount of damage on both wolves. The extent of the injuries may vary, though, because an inexpeirienced yearling paired with an experienced five year old would obviously not end in equally distributed injuries.
-You cannot kill without permission.
-In rank battles, if neither wolf seems to be winning, the Alpha can decide who gets the rank.
-
Pertaining to... Unconsented killing.
T h i s i s i m p o r t a n t!
There ARE several instances where characters can be killed without permission from the player. For instance, if a puppy makes a fully grown wolf angry enough, through disrespect or verbal attacks, the Alpha has every right to do away with the nuisance. Obviously, the puppy cannot outrun, or outfight the alpha.
This also pertains to one wolf getting in the middle of a very angry group of wolves. This one wolf cannot attack, or outrun the wolves.
This rule is mainly because some role players put their characters in positions where the other person's wolf should and does have every right to kill the character, but the 'no permission, no kill' policy holds them back.
In short, do not put your characters in a position where they could be killed.
HOWEVER.
To avoid people taking unfair advantage of this rule, an admin MUST be consulted in the case of killing. You should always give a character room to 'correct their wrongs' and we will take no unfair killing.
By unfair killing, we mean, if a Kiskana wolf made an open topic in the unclaimed, and a few people decided to have four Tyjiik wolves ironically show up and just decide they want to do away with the wolf, the act would be unjustified.

Pertaining to... IC HTML
-We allow tables, but they are not required.
Please, PLEASE do not actually quote dialogue with the [quote ] code. Most people find it annoying, and it generally makes things look much more sloppy and choppy. More subtle ways of quoting are allowed however, namely italics.
