I can't attach anything to my posts.

As i mentioned in my PM to you there is no attach option in the posting menu. Am i just missing it or is anyone else having the same problem?

I did check earlier and it is under the bottom row of smilies when you make a post, just above the add reply button...

I'll check again...

I am curious... will there be cool ranks and insignias, or just little blip thingies...?

Well if she does decide to use ranks, I would like to recommend searching for, like, the BSG rank system... or some variation, or similar something.

Also, am I correct in assuming the forum posting block is 600 pixels wide?

Well I just really like the insignias... mainly.

I don't know how they could be adapted for use with this color scheme though, since some ranks have specificly colored uniform trim (higher command and admiralty ranks)...

Would 'boss' care to explain the reason? I assume it is to do with load time?

The width thing is a function of the skin width - it's been an ongoing thing elsewhere as well (I have the same limitation on VP) - there are some code snippets out there for these forums that will auto resize photos to fit, but some of them cause other problems at the same time.....

As for rank insignias, just my pennysworth, but I'm not sure what kind would really suit this skin... I don't think militaristic type ranks would really go tbh... but I could be wrong...

If someone can be bothered to find me interesting rank symbols, I will gladly look at them, however, they must fit in with the skin...

Hence my comment about the color scheme...

You could create a silly and somewhat meaningless rank system... but without some sort of distinguishing insignia, I can't say I see a point. Little blips are fine, but interesting rank names call for interesting symbols.

Si, but most people will modify their 'comment' under their avatar anyway, so unless someone finds something that piques my interest, I'm happy right now that its only you that is making 'suggestions'

I've been having the same problem... but all over the place, not just here. I can be flicking about the web and suddenly aq load of my auto-logins vanish and i have to reset them.

It's not happened here yet though.

ok I may have something that will sort out the problem for those using Internet Explorer.... (particularly the new IE7)

Go to Tools > Internet Options > Privacy tab

select the button marked "Sites" from the middle of the window, and the "Per Site Privacy Actions" window should pop up

You'll see a list of "managed websites" in there, so scroll down and there should be an entry for "invisionfree.com" that is set to "always block... "

type "invisionfree.com" into the "address of website" box just above that, and hit the "allow" button to the right.....

you should see the entry below change to "always allow" - and with a bit of luck you should have less problems.....
