Name: Kathrynne Keyron; Kat or Kathy for short.
Age: 23 (and forever will be)
Gender: Female
Job Class: High Wizard - CEO of Rekenber Corp.
Nationality: Halzeneer
Physical Attributes:
Kathrynne is the default high wizardess as is Galen the male counterpart of it. She has short blond hair just like her twin, albeit of a lighter shade than Galen’s and little more refined. Her round eyes are of aquamarine blue color. They are often the most alluring among her other female features but be warned when they turn red. She used to need wearing glasses similar to Galen; it is not the case anymore when she had changed into ‘something else’. In fact, her eyesight has drastically improved (as well as her other physical traits), comparable to that of a hunter and she would use that in lieu with her magic sensory capabilities.
Her high wizard uniform ensemble is her favorite attire, even proudly wearing during casual outings, with neither heat nor cold bothering her, though she still can sweat as normal. Basically, she likes coats but not too conservative that it doesn’t show her slim figure. She has a wand that resembles like a conductor’s stick, attached to either a peacock tail or a stalk of wheat. It must be noted however, this is not her most powerful staff in her arsenal but simply carrying it for travel convenience.
When having business affairs or doing work for her company, commonly in Lighthalzen, she wears sharp, deep-red business woman attire with a pencil skirt. She still uses glasses if only to look more professional and keeping up faces
like Clark Kent from Superman. When she turns into something else…read the Ghost Shift skill for description. It should be noted however, Kathrynne’s ghost essence (and others) can only be detected by either an MVP, demon or another ghost.
Personality:
Kathrynne keeps a kind, modest and professional personality but serves this only as a front. At times she may even do charity work if only to add good image to the Rekenber Corporation and their lineage. A pleasing personality after all helps with good business.
However, her higher-level employees and human test subjects will make you see just what kind of person she truly is. Yes, like her brother and the rest of their family, she will do whatever it takes to get her goals and anything that stands in her way (even her brother if it has to come to that, and she knows likely will as much as she hates it.). Unlike her brother, she will be merciless and that makes her twice as nastier than her twin. The only way you can be spared from her wrath is if you could still be of use to her…
Chances are you will likely end up as a test subject for that which, believe us, is a fate worse than death. Beware when she promptly asks the question: “Glass or Plastic?”
Her personality is even more frightening when she changes to a ghost. Give her cold, calculating mind, mixed with the personality of a sweet little girl and you got a twisted psychopath as dangerous or even more than, the Godfather. Whether this is believed to be the side effect caused by Somatology’s Lemures virus, or the fact the conglomeration of the other Somatology ghost minds had been shared and embedded then twisted her sanity, is yet to be known. However, she is still able to think like a chess master. Her brother complexity still retains or maybe even worsened.
Of course she is no complete villain. Kathrynne has a certain effeminate passion for her brother that she even defends him from accusation and threats form their own parents. In fact, Galen wouldn’t even set a foot away from Lighthalzen if she didn’t stop them from killing him in their blind rage. The walk out incident did however, shook Kathrynne so much, she has started to have mixed feelings now for Galen. She still attempts to convince him to join back with her and Rekenber Corporation unlike the rest of the family.
But this same protective love for him however, can also be destructive to everyone else; Any female associates she knows or sees in close proximity of Galen makes her feel suspicious. When she does confirm that they have an affair, oh may Odin have mercy to that girl, Ragnarok cometh!
Strengths:
+Manipulative; give her time to figure out your character, your connections, etc. and she will use that against you. In the literal sense however, she has telepathic connection to all her ghosts.
+Magicwise, she is the most powerful of the Somatology ghosts with a tactical brain to boot.
+Ice and Earth Magic is exceptionally stronger than all others of her class, even her brother. She also has the most control of these as well.
Weaknesses:
-Cold-hearted; has little to no actual friends to speak of.
-Ruthless
-Her brother complexity
-Endurance to damage is lowest compared to other Somatology ghosts.
-Can never be soul linked.
History:
The younger of the Keyron twins. She was unexpected, but nonetheless a welcome addition to the prestigious Keyron family. Their life was that of sweet, pampered luxury. Kathrynne was given everything she wanted that she hardly ever needed anything else from the outside. Loneliness was far from her since she always had her brother by her side. In fact, given her sheltered life and the circumstances they were put in, Galen was practically the whole world to her to the point it would become quite disturbing on the later years.
As they came with age, so did their schooling into graces, ethics and etiquette of elite Schwarzwaldian society, to which Kathrynne learned well to please and amuse their parents. Although much of their freedom was limited, if not, restricting, Kathrynne had no qualms. She had everything she had ever needed and wanted, although she had noticed Galen would occasionally looked beyond their home’s windows and the gates of their fine city. Kathrynne couldn’t understand him, what more could he wanted from their paradise? Nonetheless, she dismissed it as something her brother would eventually grow out of anyway and thus continued to live as normal.
The twins both eventually found high interest and purpose in the pursuit for knowledge as did their ancestors before them. Both raced against each other in a friendly competition to delight their beloved parents. Kathrynne of course became the more favored one since she followed well the expectations of her parents even though they're more lenient towards Galen in hopes of taking the family heritage. However, the later was a lot left to be desired, as their father had noticed Galen was somewhat deviating from them.
Seven years later came the days of the Novice Academy. Kathrynne was quite the shy one and felt estranged within her new surroundings. Everyone around her was just…noisy and annoyingly stupid. Galen wasn’t helping at all for her when he got so hyped about it and for the first time, she realized how ‘vulnerable’ he was with other girls around him. This just led Kathrynne to be clingier and viciously defensive for her brother, much to Galen’s added chagrin. She didn’t concern herself much with the other boys being they were ‘imperfect’ and so unlike her brother, often raising her chin and turning her face away from them.
Her escape to social pressure, aside from books and lessons, came in the form of her newfound interest of monsters—putting them in glass jars or plastic bags then either dissect or preserve them for later study. This would be the spark to her interests to the field of scientific research.
However, the academy would eventually leave her a scaring reminder of her mortal self. During a physical exam, one of her clumsier batchmates accidentally struck her around the head. She had no permanent brain damage or fractures, much to the merciful luck of the staff but her eye sight was affected, causing to have occasional blurs. This lead her to wear glasses for the rest of her life. Another problem came when she developed asthma.
While these handicaps didn’t prevent her graduation from the academy, they did hamper her ability to go adventuring with Galen, much to her frustration. As a result, Galen had much freedom without her presence while Kathrynne had to regularly return home to be checked on by their doctors. This led her to a life of painstaking struggles and she was often reluctant to join in parties due to the limits of her body.
However, life without Galen wasn’t totally fruitless for her; she too learned the value of people but in a very different sense—as tools for her own benefit. She made up her lack in physical capacity (which many adventurers expected from mage-class jobs anyway) with her intellect. Not only how she wisely used her skills to maximum effect, but becoming a strategist and tactician, often arguably becoming a leader than the typical swordsmen. And in the case she wasn’t, well it wasn’t too hard to manipulate said leader to becoming her personal puppet dictator. As her skills to her profession grew, so did her cunningness and deceit. Compassion was very useful and a favored personality everyone liked. Thus, this became her facade.
When they turned fourteen, Kathrynne was very overjoyed to see Galen again but they were here for a different purpose. The twins then took their wizard’s promotion exam and became the delight of everyone being the highest to pass of their batch. Kathrynne of course took first place in order to delight their parents but their father seemed terribly bothered. Kathrynne wasn’t certain what it was until they got home. Frederick lashed out his fury to his disappointment of a son who was none other than Galen. She wanted to intervene but was stopped by their mother.
Isabella did however, decided to finally show the twins their family’s well-guarded secrets on Ymir Heart research, genomics and other branches of research. Kathrynne’s excitement brightened up at this fruitful prospect and inheritance of their legacy. If there was anything she had to complain about this, it would be why this ‘utopia’ wasn’t revealed to her sooner. Galen however while he seemed to be marveled of the idea, was held back by what Kathrynne could consider the ill sense of human morality. She on the other hand thought those hateful bums on the slum district deserved to at least become useful for a greater good of humanity. Not to mention, for her own interests and welfare, this research could actually save her from turning into this weakling body of an adventurer.
The two eventually argued about this with neither yielding to the other’s beliefs. This was probably the only time Kathrynne hated her own brother so much for being so stubborn.
When they turned eighteen, a drastic change sparked. Galen went to become a High Wizard. To her frustration, he went on alone but she followed soon after three months of his ascension. Galen’s decision was made clear and adamant when the twins had their debut to Lighthalzen and to the public. He had chosen to resign.
Out of mix of hatred and fear for their exposure, they made an attempt to ‘rid’ their only son by any means necessary. Kathrynne however, and this time with much daring courage, stood in their way, claiming that she would not have been the inspiration to become the Keyron she was today without her brother. She even threatened to walk out as well if they choose to insist.
Not wanting to lose both twins, Frederick and Isabella receded. As to further calm them, Kathrynne took on the Rekenber Corp as the new CEO. This was perhaps Kathrynne’s last act of kindness for her dear brother before she quietly disappeared into the depths of the Somatology labs, a heavy heart carried with her.
Some years had passed. On the brink of a breakthrough, a photojournalist somehow sneaked in and attempted to expose their secrets as well as sabotage the labs. Kathrynne was there during that time and she was not about to let 800 years of their legacy be blown away by a meddlesome protester. During the struggle, an explosion occurred, releasing the deadly Lemures virus into the air. Immediate lockdown was ordered in the building, however the system failed to secure the test subjects and clones, most of which were classified as violent threats to humanity. Kathrynne, as well as several other personnel, was still inside when this occurred.
Expectant of death she lied down and simply waited, her last memories were of Galen and her family…
However, when she opened her eyes, she felt very different. Through her broken glasses, she could make out the silhouette of Seyren Windsor with a pair of glaring red eyes staring down at her. Soon after, many more red eyes appeared from the darkness. Kathrynne feared for her life of course but that fear was soon replaced by curiosity; Why were they not attacking her?
And then there were the voices, many of them. The boldest of which was the voice of a strong man. Somehow, she knew this voice belonged to the original Seyren despite the crowd of ghosts before her. When she got up, she looked at a nearby shattered piece of glass. The reflection showed a blond woman staring back at her with glaring red eyes. Kathrynne picked up her glasses and realized she could see clearly without them now.
A twisted smile spread across her face.
After the release of the lock down, Kathrynne was the only survivor from the incident, much to the miraculous delight of Lighthalzen. Or at least that’s what most people thought to be.
After a month of cover and clean up, Rekenber and the Somatology Labs were back to operational status once more. Kathrynne thought of merging with Kiel Hyre Corp. to solve some of their financial setbacks caused by the Drake Attacks…not to mention they needed better security systems. In addition, she also opened the Somatology Labs for applications and volunteers. Little does the world know they were in for one hell of a surprise and she had a devious plan, hatched from a good three years.

Custom SkillsGhost Shift - Changes Kathrynne into her MVP and true form. She automatically turns into this form if her human-self is killed or defeated.
Her appearance will change to that of something translucent, wisps of smoke seem to spurt around her and her eye color changes to a malicious red. She will gain MVP attributes including immunity to neutral physical attack; in essence, a true ghost among her biolab counterparts with highest magical resilience to magic damage as well as ability to phase through physical walls and objects.
The same ability also allows her to revert back to normal human form but regardless of what phase, she gains a passive ability of heightened spiritual awareness. This means she can sense MVPs, spirits or anything that has a trace with magic.
This will be one of two custom skills available to her during MVP mode, though however, her wizard skills increase dramatically to make up for this. (refer to the mvp version of Kathrynne in ratemyserver)
Mana Rift - a curse spell that requires eye contact to take effect. Requires a red gemstone. Kathrynne corrupts the spiritual energy flow, any magic spells cast by target will only be half effective, this includes halved durations of buffs and AoE spells and lasts for 3 posts.
Special case effect for linked target: Severs the link from Soul Linker in two posts. Linker can not link to target again for two posts.
Earthquake - a large earth-based AoE spell. One post preparation is needed for it to be cast but this is mostly as a precaution safety measure for herself and her allies (Kathrynne will then request them to stop and remain where they are to levitate the ground around them). Once unleashed, the ground will soon rumble violently. The spell's damage is even more effective inside a dungeon given the falling debris. In the case of the Land Protector spell, only that area will not be affected, not you may still get hit by debris if inside a dungeon.
The spell causes confusion status(30% chance) after the attack, stunning them. Any spells or skills that require concentration will be interrupted. Three post cool down.
Note: A flying target or suspended from the ground will not be inflicted by confuse status and initial attack though there is still chance to get hit by falling debris if inside the dungeon. It is possible to cling on Kathrynne's levitated stones to avert all the dangers of the earthquake altogether including the debris but you will be at mercy of whoever occupies that stone beforehand.
Glass Armor - A support spell limited only to Kathrynne and mimics like an offensive version of a priest's KE. This can be used during her ghost form. She coats herself in an invisible barrier of shattering ice. Careful observation will notice her clothing seems to have an unnatural glossy effect or shine.
Upon physical attack, anyone around 20 meters of her will be hit by shards of ice and get blinded(50% if close to 20 meters, only 20% if further out.). However the real danger isn't the shards and blinding effect; the shards themselves leave a trace of crystallization and targets will feel chilled even though they cannot see any form of ice. They will however, see their puff of white smoke from their breath.
The stage of recrystallization are as follows. Note that this status only applies to those inflicted within her 20 meter range.
Stage 1 post cycle: Reflexes and speed become slower.
Stage 2 post cycle: Targets become slow as turtles and y-you're g-going t-t-talk l-like th-this o-onwards.
Stage 3 post cycle: All AGI and DEX boosts including drug potions (concentrates, awakes, berserk pots) will be nullified.
Stage 4 post cycle: Targets become frozen and immobile.
Tip: A strong heat source can cure or counteract this. Volcano spell is effective to stop this.
This barrier however is a last resort as it is only cast once per phase (1 during her human and 1 as a ghost.). The barrier can be overlapped by other barriers that defend physical harm like KE or SW. This spell once cast however, lasts indefinitely until it's use.

*Her monster jar collection has since expanded with more monsters, some donated to the monster research facility in Yuno. It shares the same magical technology as Kafra’s compact storage. The only monsters not in collection are MVPs and minibosses but Kath claims she just hasn’t gotten a bigger jar yet.

this.
