This is the official guide for the guilds here in After the Academy. This will help you in having an idea on how your Organization works as well as giving you ideas for an interesting character to play.

This is posted because many of the in-game organizational structures have been changed DRASTICALLY for a more realistic, fun forum life and/or for PLOT PURPOSES so I suggest you read through your job class' organization guide thoroughly.

Note: The Number in the bracket beside the rank is the number of that rank we will allow, when someone takes the rank, we will remove that number and replace with the name.

REMEMBER:
This is only a guide, it does not entail how you will be trained by your mentor as that is still dependent on them. Any changes will be done by the Guildmaster and/or Admins.

Also, please follow how your organization works, we don't want a ninja out there to name their Shadow Eye and get their whole guild in trouble or a knight to magically find out who the Cross is? Hmmm, pretty bad RPing wouldn't you say?

"Royal Order of Chivalry"


"To Serve is Chivalry, to Protect is Human"
- Chivalry Academy Motto.

The Chivalry is created in order to create Swordsmen, Knights and Lord/Lady Knights who to protect and serve the home country. They act as the enforcers of the law set by their kingdom's judicial system.

They teach students as cadets and run a military like organization

RANKS

Higher Office These require Lord Knight or Rune Knight job class status. All members of the higher office have the choice of donning their own insignia in their cape but is required to have their rank etched in both pauldrons.

[1] LORD COMMANDER - Highest rank and is the rank of the guildmaster
[1] COMMANDER GENERAL - second in command
[1] GENERAL - 3rd in command
[1] LORD CAPTAIN - 4th in command and is responsible for overseeing the Guild for the Lord Commander

Lower Office. Officers of the lower office have the Chivalry insignia and their rank on their left pauldron.

[x] CAPTAIN - Oversees the training of cadets
[3] LIEUTENANT - Appointed by the Captain, doesn't necessarily have to be a Lord Knight. Oversees the movements of Segeants as well as acts as enforces disciplinary measures.
[5] SERGEANT - Doesn't necessarily have to be a Lord Knight. Reports to the Lieutenant, trains and screens the cadets.

Members

[n] SIR - rank gained by cadets once they become of Knight job class. They patrol the streets and have the power to arrest people.
[n] PRIVATE - rank of every swordsman
[n] CADET - rank of a novice who aspires to be a swordsman

Special ranks

[5] EINHERJARS - EINHERJARS are members of the Chivalry handpicked by the King and Queen to protect them. These 5 are the best of the best and are equal to LORD COMMANDER status. In turn, they are able to command any of the lower positions as well. They are told apart by their red capes and uniform Royal Swords.

(Note: All Royal Swords are red and/or gold versions of the RO swords.)

[n] THOR UNIT - The THOR UNIT is likened to the Black Ops or Green Berets of the Chivalry. They handle secret missions, guerrilla warfare and such. They are also specially trained to fight Assassins. They have no rank because as far as the Chivalry is concerned, they do not exist. They report directly to the King or LORD COMMANDER. They have no power over lower offices. THOR UNIT uniforms are distinguished by a black band or ribbon across their right arm.

[5] WARRANT - WARRANTS are equal to the SERGEANT rank even if he/she is only a knight or even a swordie. Warrants have a special job as they act as detectives and negotiators. They are distinguished by a white band or ribbon on their right arm. ALL WARRANTS ARE VERY KEEN TO DIPLOMACY, PUBLIC SPEAKING AND DETECTIVE WORK.

NOTES
- All members of the Chivalry are free to practice whatever type of swordsmanship they prefer.
- All members of the Chivalry must abide by the Chivalry Code to be provided by the Guildmaster.
- Merits and such will be decided by the guild master.

The Crusades primary duties were to be sent to cleanse areas with demonic infestations as Knights had been needed to protect the capital. However, since the turn of the century, The Crusades also work closely with the knights to enforce the law and protect the kingdom, however, this is only a secondary duty and their primary duty always come first.

Unlike Knights however, they do not serve the king directly, but they also serve the Patriarch/Matriarch.

RANKS

Higher Office These require Paladin or Royal Guard job class status. They are noted for a cape with their rank's insignia and a shield with their rank's insignia.

[1] LEGATO - Highest rank and is the rank of the guildmaster
[1] POST-LEGATO - second in command
[1] LATICLAVIUS - 3rd in command
[1] PRAEFECTUS - 4th in command and is responsible for overseeing the Guild for the Legato

Lower Office. Officers of the lower office have the Crusades insignia and their rank on their shield and chestplate.

[x] CENTURIO - Oversees the training of initiates as well as Captain sent to the Crusades.
[3] OPTIO - Appointed by the CENTURIO, doesn't necessarily have to be a Paladin. Oversees the movements of Tesserarius as well as acts as enforces disciplinary measures.
[5] TESSERARIUS - Doesn't necessarily have to be a Paladin. Reports to the OPTIO, trains and screens the Initiates.

Members

[n] LEGIO - rank gained by Initiates once they become of Crusader job class. They are the body of the whole Crusades
[n] INITIATE - rank of every swordsman aspiring to be a Crusader

Special ranks

[5] VALKYRIES - Are heavily trained Crusaders/Paladins who are chosen by the Gods themselves. They go through intensive training regiments to gain their wings and their powers. Valkyries have the duty to protect the kingdom of Odin and in secondary, protect everyone else. As one might suspect, only women from the Legion are chosen to become a Valkyrie, Once they become a Valkyrie, they are free from the laws of the Legion as well as the world and only follow a directive rule. Applicants are screened by the current Valkyrie General, Randgris.

[n] VINDICATORS - Vindicators are titles given to Crusaders/Paladins/Royal Guards who have left the Crusades or were excommunicated.

[3] SENTINEL - Sentinel is an honorary title given to another job class who shows prowess in the arts of the Crusades or has aided the Crusades in a life-changing manner. Sentinels are extremely rare. Sentinels have some benefits, such as being able to have two Crusaders/Paladins as escorts as well as training in the Crusader arts.

[n] IMAGINIFER - is the priest or high priest sanctioned by the Church to baptize newly-appointed Crusaders, and to hold religious celebrations within the Paladin Barracks. He bears the insignia of the Kingdom and of the Church to continually remind the Crusaders of their true cause.

NOTES
- Paladins and Crusaders are not priests, and as such, cannot do priestly duties
- Paladins learn both sword and spear, but most are, however, proficient with the spear despite the lack of offensive spear skills
- They are able to channel holy energies from their bodies to their weapons and armors
- Merit system to be provided by Guildmaster

"The Holy Church of Odin"

Primarily exists to keep and defend the faith of the realm, and if possible, spread the faith to other nations. Priests and acolytes are also the leading authority in the studies of the Eddas and manuscripts of Wyrd. They are also the front liners in major battles of exorcism, with support from the Inquisition and the Holy Crusades. They are also the leading authority in medicine and health.

The Church is divided into three orders but are ultimately commanded by one Guildmaster. Priests/esses of the Church must choose one order when they become a High Priest/ess.

RANKS Unlike the Chivalry and Crusades, The Church's rankings are divided into three orders, Healers, Exorcists, and Battle Clerics. The Guildmaster holds command over the whole guild but is also the direct commander of Healers and Exorcists, the guildmaster then appoints a leader for the Battle Priests who holds command over battle clerics and report directly to the Guildmaster.

Head of the Church

[1] PATRIARCH/MATRIARCH - Highest rank, High Priest or Archbishop status required. Guildmaster and also commander of Healers and Exorcists.

Rank of the Healers

[1] ARCHBISHOP (not to be confused with the job class) - 2nd in command, commander and representative of the Healers.
[3] CARDINAL - 3rd in command, assists the Archbishop.
[n] BISHOP - Bishop is the title given to High Priests/esses who officially enter themselves in the Order of Healers.

Rank of the Exorcists

[1] PRIME EXORCISMUS - 2nd in command, commander and representative of the Exorcists.
[3] PRIEST/ESS EXORCISMUS - 3rd in command, Assists the Prime Excorcismus
[n] EXORCIST - Exorcist is the title given to High Priests/esses who officially enter themselves in the Order of Exorcists.

Rank of the Battle Clerics

[1] EXARCH- is the Guildmaster of the Battle Clerics. While the Battle Clerics are treated as a separate order, the Exarch works closely with the Patriarch/Matriarch. While this rank is equal to Patriarch/Matriarch, the Exarch still often listens to the Patriarch/Matriarch.
[3] VIXARCH - is the 2nd in command for the Battle Cleric Order.
[n] ARCH - Archs are titles of High Priests/esses who officially enter themselves in the order of Battle Clerics.

(note, these ranks are before your name. I.E Exarch Zenith etc.)

Lower Ranks

[n] FATHER/MOTHER - Titles given to High/Priests/esses
[n] NEOPHYTES - Acolytes

Special Ranks

[n] PRIMATES - Primates are the title given to High Priests/esses who have not yet chosen an order. While there are alot of Primates, they cannot advance unless they choose an order.

[n] CHEREM - Cherems are titles of Excommunicated High/Priests/esses.

[n] SWORD - Official title to Priests in the order of healing and/or Exorcism who has BONDED.

NOTES
- Usually, high ranking priests (those of the High Priest class and above) practice celibacy of their own accord, though there is no strict law preventing the marriage of a priest or priestess.
- High ranking priests and priestesses are known for their distinctive aura and lack of serious ailments. The most powerful clergy in terms of Exorcism and Healing are said to be immune to all kinds of ailments.
- Are usually discouraged from rigorous combat training, however, since the rise of the need for Battle Clerics rose, they may choose to join the Order of battle clerics.
- Battle Clerics do not only worship Odin but also Tyr.
- Members of the Battle Cleric order are able to train with the Crusades or Inquisition if they may so wish.

"The Inquisition Of Odin's Provident Eye"

The Inquisition is the military sect of the Church, directly under the church and independent from the state.

Line of duties of the Inquisition is as follows:
- Investigative (Be it covert or overt)
- Exorcism
- Body guards for figures of the Church
- Frontier exploration for removing demonic and undead tainted areas or simple exploration at heavily spiritual, sacred, mystical realms (GH, Payon Cave, Geffen Dungeon, Hidden Temple, Odin's Temple etc)

The Inquisition also works closely with the Exarch to provide a powerful military sect for the Church.

RANKS

Leader

[1] HIGH INQUISITOR - Handles the dispatch, control, and general rough directions for the Inquisition's routine tasks or missions. This position is equal to Patriarch/Matriarch and Exarch. While the High Inquisitor has command over the military sect, he has no command over Battle Clerics but may employ their services. The Exarch also has no command over Zealots but may employ their services.

Inquisitors, Like the Church, once an acolyte becomes a Champion, he/she may choose or be assigned to an Inquisition. The Inquisition will then be the nature of his duties.

[n] FIRST INQUISITION - Handles the movement of teams in a mission or routine task.
[n] SECOND INQUISITION - More Investigative in nature and field work.
[n] THIRD INQUISITION - Frontiersmen and exploration teams
[n] FOURTH INQUISITION - Platoon leaders. Prioritizing exorcism and Inquisitive duties.
[n] FIFTH INQUISITION - Team leaders. Prioritizing in man-hunts, and serves as rough dispatch on duty.

Members

[n] ZEALOTS - Title given to monks. Also possibly to Champions who have no inquisition.

Special ranks

[n] SHIELD - It is a title given to a Monk or Champion who has BONDED.

NOTES
- Unlike the Church, the monastic Inquisition are considered lay personnel and are not strictly ordained in part of the Church as the Inquisition itself holds its own values.
- The Inquisition is modeled as a mix of Hindu and Buddhist zen meditative rituals and principles.
- The Inquisition, being a military sect, welcomes nearly all melee combat styles from the real world. Some impractical fighting styles include, but are not limited to: Sumo Wrestling, Street Fighting, Ninjutsu, etc)
- Being a more spiritual attuned class than the divinitive clergymen of the church, members of the Inquisition are more empathic in sensing spiritual and demonic traces, auras, and emotions.
- Ergo, to above, the Inquisition are highly similar to Soul Linkers in a sense.
- The Inquisition are the least numerous in number in number of members compared to other professions due to the sheer difficulty in mind, body, and spirit attributes that must be honed.

"The Guild"


"Strike swiftly, silently and leave no trace"
- Assassin order of engagement.

It's best to not know what lurks in the shadows. Assassins have one grim purpose, that is to kill anyone who puts a price on anyone. Known simply as "The Guild", they make sure that their existence is as secret as it can be. However, the assassin is guild is not just a band of cold blooded killers, oh no. They are Morrorc's personal guards, their version of the Kingdom's knights. They are also here to protect a balance they can only see and to make sure Morroc does not fall into the hands of their rivals, the Stalker guild. A guild war is held in Morroc for the Flag, whoever wins takes control of Morroc until the next Guild war. As of now, however, The Guild has won and The Stalker Guild seems to have not launched an attack in quite awhile.

Also, there is also a rumor that The Guild is there to guard a very special doorway, a powerful demon and treasure.

Members of The Guild follow 5 strict Tenets.

1. Never raise your blade against another member of The Guild
2. Never steal from another member of The Guild
3. We are a secretive guild, do not reveal your identity in public. If public meetings are required, do so in a manner most uneventful. Messages are passed through mouth.
4. Strike swiftly and painlessly, we are not merciless killers.
5. Carry missions down to the teeth

Failure to comply means death.

RANKS

Black Hand The real leader of The Guild is collectively known as The Black Hand. It consists of five members with one of them being the overall chair. Their titles denote the weapons they use. Some members of The Black Hand are immune to certain tenets. Take note, no one knows who the Cross is nor who the Black Hand are. This information is kept secret save for the Listener and his speakers and a chosen few.

[Osama Al-Medhain] THE CROSS - The title given to the member of the Black Hand who is a master of the Katars. He is instantly recognized as he wears a dark blinker. The sign of his unbiased duty to uphold the balance to the bitter end. He/She embodies Balance and is therefore the "perfect" assassin.

The Cross' council are as follows.

[x] THE DAGGER - The title given to the member of the Black Hand who is a master of the daggers. He/she is the quickest in terms of successive attacks and mastery over poisons. He/She embodies Deceit and Deception. Immune to the second tenet.

[x] THE SWORD - The title given to the member of the Black Hand who is a master of the swords. He/She has command over the cosmic energies and has the most powerful Soul Breaker. He/She embodies Mental Power. Immune to the fifth tenet.

[x] THE HAMMER - The title given to the member of the Black Hand who is a master of the hammers or two different weapons. He/she may be the slowest but he/she is the best at hiding. He/she embodies Physical Strength. Immune to the fourth tenet.

[x] THE SICKLE - The title given to the member of the Black Hand who is a master of the shotels. He/she is required to be the fastest of the Black Hand and of the whole Guild. He/she embodies the Speed and Skill. Immune to the first tenet. The Sickle is the most dangerous position in The Guild as the Sickle is often called upon The Cross to kill other Assassins.

Members

[x] LISTENER - The Listener is the one who relays orders from The Cross and his Black Hand to the other members. He/she is also tasked of making sure the public does not know of the identities of the Cross and the Black Hand. If worse comes to worse, he is tasked to present himself as the Cross.
[4] SPEAKERS - Speakers are made to mirror the Black Hand and is also tasked of making sure no one knows the true identity of the Black Hand. Other than this, their duties are to oversee the training of all the members of The Guild.

Note: both the Listener and all the Speakers are the ones who look through jobs and marks and then distribute them to the other assassins.

[n] EXECUTIONER - titles given to Assassin Crosses.
[n] ELIMINATOR - titles given to Assassins.

Outsiders

[n] COWLS - Cowls are Thieves. Because of the secretive nature of both The Guild and The Family, thieves are trained by a separate order of which they have no allegiance to.

Special ranks

[5] SILENCER - A Silencer is a special rank given to the personal Assassin of The Cross and each member of the Black Hand. Each Silencer only reports to his/her master. While not required, some members always find this "comforting".

(I.E One Silencer for the Cross and Each member of the Black Hand).

[Lucrezia "Sottile Spada", Ceaz "Little Knife", n] <assassin name> - While there are no such things as EXILED assassins. Assassins who wish to be free from the dealings of The Guild or assassins who feel that their offspring are better not knowing anything about The Guild but would like The Guild's protection on them are given special Assassin names. Assassin names consist of a a synonym of small and then a weapon (I.E Little Knife). People with Assassin names are given protection by The Guild as well as directly watched over by The Guild as they are always somehow trained by their parents in the ways of the Assassin.

TAKE NOTE THAT ONLY PEOPLE WITH ASSASSIN NAMES CAN LEARN SKILLS BASED OFF THE THIEF/ASSASSIN/ASSASSIN CROSS TREE.

A heavy deal must be made with the Cross for a person to have an Assassin name.

NOTES
- To have an assassin kill a target, one must leave an envelope on the central area of Morroc. The envelope must contain the blank contract. The next evening, the Listener or one of the Speakers will visit you wherein the details of the contract are discussed, signed, and sealed. The Listener and/or Speakers then return home and provide the mission to the members of the guild.
- The Password to enter their lair is "Sanguine" when asked "What is thy blade's color"
- For some strange reason, all the members of The Guild are either handsome or pretty.
- There ARE NO SUCH THING AS EXILED ASSASSINS. Assassins who have left The Guild have either become Rogues/Stalkers or died. NO EXCEPTIONS.

"The Family"


"Make them an offer they can't refuse, right?"

If you want a target killed and deliver a message about it, your best bet is The Family. Unlike The Guild who works in secrecy, The Family hides in plain sight and their connections run deep. Deep enough that they know where The Guild is (however, because of the security, it is yet to be invaded) as well as hold some power over some high commanding officers. While The Guild may see killing as a necessary tool to protect a balance, The Family sees killing as business. Pure and Simple. The Family also handles over other illegal businesses.

The main differences they have is they work in pairs or teams and never alone, unlike Assassins.

Guild wars are a common thing between The Guild and The Family as controlling Morroc will mean bigger business. However, The Family has been losing but there have been no attacks recently.

RANKS

The Administration

[Alessandro Vencentio] THE GODFATHER - Also known as "The Boss". The guildmaster who oversees everything that happens in The Family as well as the one who directly talks business. The Godfather cannot refuse a request on the day of his daughter's wedding. (Alessandro, however, has no daughter).
[x] CAPO BASTONE - The Underboss, 2nd in command.
[x] THE CONSIGLIERE - He/she is the personal consultant of the Godfather/mother and the Capo Bastone. He/she also handles other business transactions the Godfather cannot see. He/she handles the Godfather's schedules and such and also acts as a lawyer. The Consigliere also equals as second in command.

The Armory

[Elaheh ,2] SOTTO CAPO - SOTTO CAPOs are the heads of the Armory and also serves as the trainers.
[n] CAPOREGIME - Caporegimes are Stalkers, each Stalker has 2-3 rogues with them. As such, they are also called "Captains". They lead GANGS, each Gang may choose to have their own spray paint tag.
[n] ASSOCIATE - Associates are titles given to Rogues.

Outsiders

[n] COWLS - Cowls are Thieves. Because of the secretive nature of both The Guild and The Family, thieves are trained by a separate order of which they have no allegiance to.

Special ranks

[Hemming, n] MAFIOSO - A mafioso is a member of another job class who works closely with The Family. A Mafioso is either working of his own accord or against his will.

TAKE NOTE THAT ONLY MAFIOSOS CAN LEARN SKILLS BASED OFF THE THIEF/ROGUE/STALKER TREE.

[n] MARKED MAN - A Marked man is a Rogue or Stalker who chose to leave The Family unofficially. Marked Men are often killed to protect their secrets.

[n] MADE MAN - A Made man on the other hand, are Rogues or Stalkers who left the family with the blessing of the Godfather (I.E they will keep the secrets to their grave). They are heavily protected.

NOTES
- Visiting their house is the only way to contract The Family to take a target. Speaking with either The Consigliere or The Godfather himself makes the Contract signed and sealed.
- All Stalkers and Rogues WORK IN GROUPS, NO EXCEPTIONS. Each group is called a GANG and members of a GANG may opt to stay with one another.
- Sunday is Family Day. NOBODY DOES ANYTHING ON SUNDAYS. We shall all dine together with everyone.

"The Trade Union of Craftsmen"


"A good deal is all we need"

Before, merchants went by their own ways and dealt with alot of things, even illegal things. To counter this, a few merchants decided to create the Trade Union of Craftsmen.

The Trade Union of Craftsmen main purpose is to provide steel and other materials for the whole of Rune Midgard. They deal with selling arms and to some extent, clothes. They work hand in hand with the College of Business to provide cheap and reliable effects for citizens.

They also work as carpenters and miners. Ranks of the Trade union are pretty straight forward.

The Alchemist's and Biochemist's Registration is where merchants may come to take their licensure examination to become fully-fledged alchemy students. Upon the graduation from alchemy they may opt to pursue their biochemical degree. Graduates may opt to serve the sciences, becoming weapons creators and technological researchers for their kingdoms.

Graduates of this college may also opt to create potions and pursue business. They may study economical theories and pursue other ventures with their degree. A certain degree of wealth may be achieved over the course of time for graduates, ensuring a very financially stable lifetime.

Primarily are also employed by armies and adventurers as factors to decrease battle injuries and provide support against opponents. All graduates are trained to be well-versed in business, warfare, the sciences, and practical everyday combat.

Duties include:
- To provide service to the people by providing them with affordable medicines and other potions and balms.
- To provide excellent alchemists and biochemists who will excel in any business venture they may put their minds on.
- To create individuals who are able to serve their purposes well, with intellectual minds who actually think and process problems mathematically and scientifically.
- To be able to provide financial stability by helping the economies thrive through businesses.
- To be able to aid countries research new scientific methods to help the welfare of their citizens, or to research new technologies or chemical weaponry for the aid of the armies.
- To aid adventurers with their various missions with levelheaded individuals who are able to provide the support they require: healing services and other services via potion-creation.

- Strictly neutral. During warfare, the academy will not favor any country and will close itself to any threat. Any biochemist or alchemist who want to join the war do so at their own peril.

The University of the Arcana is situated in Geffen is specializes in creating spells and to discover the secrets of the Arcana hidden in Geffenia. While the Arcana pretty much keep to themselves, they are divided into three schools.

The School of Arcana Practice, which teaches mages/wizards/high wizards about the current Arcana and how they can be wielded to their true potential. This also allows Mages/Wizards to specialize in one form of Magic.

The School of Ancient Arcana, which is in charge of researching the ancient Arcanas hidden in Geffenia and Glast Heim. They specialize with other Arcanas as well.

The School of Sealing, The school of Sealing is a mutual agreement between both universities as they both agree that sealing is an important part of the Arcana Universities' job and so teaches students about this. There can, however, only be one SEALMASTER (U-Arc) and SEALWARDEN (SSU) at a time. Their primary distinction is a SEALMASTER specializes in sealing monsters while a SEALWARDEN specializes in sealing land masses and forbidden areas, their powers however are NOT limited to their specializations.

Despite popular belief of rivalry between the two schools, U-Arc works closely with the Schwarzwald Sage University. There is also an annual intramurals between U-Arc and SSU

If they are crumbling, he/she reinforces them and if a new monster comes up, he/she seals them. He/she also handles Monster research. He/she is denoted by a special staff (usually a Flagwand). He/she works closely with the Dean of the School of Sealing as well as the SSU's SEALWARDEN.

The Schwarzwald Sage University is the only school in the whole of Rune-Midgard to teach and educate students in the way of Sage. While Wizards and High Wizards rely heavily on forcing and controlling Arcana into their magical energies, Sages and Professors uses the Arcana's own magical flow to direct their magical energies. While the effects appear the same, Sages and Professors spend less SP at the cost of slightly weaker damage. Sages and Professors however, are capable of more than just blasting objects to bits.

The University was founded a few years after U-Arc. Like U-Arc, SSU also employs the same three school curriculum.

The School of Arcana Bending is much the same curriculum as the School of Arcana Practice in U-Arc. The school also teaches and allows students to specialize in one form of magic.

[1] SEALWARDEN - While a Sealmaster is in charge of sealing monsters themselves, Sealwardens are in charge of sealing areas with sealed monsters with magic. Allowing a more powerful seal or for a forbidden area to be forever forbidden. As mentioned, his/her power is not limited to this.

[3] GEOMANCERS - Geomancers are Sages and Professors who are heavily adept at using land based magic (I.E Deluge, Land protector, etc.). Other than this, Geomancers are heavily valued as much as Geologists are to the real world. They can calculate weather, see change in land patterns and warn citizens of impending earthquakes and/or volcanic eruptions.

[x] ELEMENTALIST - a "Jack of all trades"; the Elementalist has suitable knowledge of all the basic elements (fire, earth, wind and water) but only to a certain extent. Though, given enough time to practice the all the arts, disciplines and elements (it takes years even for geniuses and talented sages/profs), the elementalists can be as proficient as a master of the respective elements... it takes years of study and training to become a full pledged elementalist, and only a few have managed to achieve this rank. Full pledged elementalists are eligible to teach in any form of magic in the school of Arcana practice.

"The Hunter's Lodge"


"Track. Hunt. Prey."
- Hunter rules of engagement.

Even before the dawn of civilizations, Archers and hunters have existed. They are extremely proficient in tracking down animals and humans alike and is said to be the bane of assassins. The primary duties of The Hunter's Lodge is the protection of the animals, forest warfare, trap and take as well as track and rescue.

All members of the Hunter lounge are heavily trained in the arts of knowing the forest, wind directions and reading signs that are unseen to the a normal human. All their senses are exceptionally more sharpened than others.

An Archer willing to become a member of the Hunter's Lodge must just simply find their home base and be trained in the arts of the Lodge.

RANKS. Unlike other organizations, RANKS have no real meaning in the Hunter Lodge society. Seniority comes only with experience (i.E job class and AGE). In fact, their only real rank is the CHIEFTAIN. Everyone else is equal.

Head

[x] CHIEFTAIN - The Chieftain is the official title of the Hunter Lodge's guildmaster/mistress. He/She oversees the lodge as a whole. He/she wears an elaborate facemask.

Member titles

[n] BEASTMASTERS - Beastmasters are Hunters and/or Snipers who are heavily skilled at animal hunting and having animals as companions. Beastmasters are attributed to have naturally stronger connection to animals (I.E their Blitz Beat and other Falcon related skills are stronger than normal Hunters and Snipers). [In game term: Blitzer]

[n] SURESHOTS - Sureshots are hunters and/or snipers who heavily relies with traps and their bows and arrows. They are extremely skilled with trap making and rarely miss. [makes up agi-dex builds, dex-lck builds and agi-luck builds]

[n] WATCHERS - Watchers are the hybrid class of the Lodge. They do not specialize in one aspect of the Hunter and sniper skill but finds the balance in both of them. While they have no particular strengths, they have no particular weaknesses either.

[n] MIRAGE CORPS - The Mirage Corps are a group of Archers, Hunters and Snipers directly commissioned by the king to aid The Chivalry in wartime activities. Mirage Corps members are heavily skilled at tracking, especially for Thief tree classes.

NOTES
- While the Hunter's lodge is not a secret organization, many of their techniques are heavily guarded.
- Despite IN-GAME rules, Hunters/Snipers can have other birds other than Falcons as their companions, their mechanics, however, still work as with in game.
- Has a deep connection to nature and their animal companions. In short, they can either talk to trees or animals, or even both!

"The Show"


"The show must go on"

The Show is the umbrella term used to cover both the Minstrel society and Gypsy society. While both societies work independently, they do follow the same order and work closely together. Unlike In-Game, members of The Show are not only limited to singing and dancing but also to acting and producing plays.

Bards and Minstrels are also tasked with spreading words of praises and story telling of heroes of old so the new generation will never forget while Dancers and Gypsies are also tasked with giving praise to Gods through dance.

All in all, they are tasked with the entertainment of the whole of Rune Midgard. This doesn't mean, however, that they are incapable of protecting themselves. This ability to hide their deadly potential is what makes them most versatile.

Both guilds hold a show every year. This show is either a variety show or a play. Archers who wish to become part of the show must audition.

[x] Director Minstrel - Guildmaster of the Minstrel Guild in Lutie.
[1] Directress Gypsy - Guildmistress of the Dancer Guild in Comodo.

Producers

[2] Assistant Directors - 2nd in command for their respective guild. Obviously, there are two of them, one for the Director Minstrel and one for the Directress gypsy.
[4] Production Assistants - They help the Assistant Directors and they work in counterpart pairs. (I.E A Bard/Minstrel and Dancer/Gypsy pair for each Assistant Director)

Other members have no real ranking. Like the Hunter Lodge, superiority comes with experience and age.

Special ranks

[3] SONGMAIDENS (Bard equal) | SONGMISTRESS (Minstrel equal) - Songmaidens/Songmistress are Bards/Minstrels who are female. Their special perk is that their song skills are exceptionally stronger than male bards/minstrels and cover the same range but their arrow/guitar skills are weaker, they wear a thinner version of the bard/minstrel uniform with their abdomens exposed and wear miniskirts instead of breeches. While it isn't actually forbidden for women to enter the Bard/Minstrel guild, the environment of a male dominated society is kind of oppressing.

[3] FORMADOS (Dancer equal) | MESTRES (Gypsy equal) - A Mestre is the official term used for men who become Dancers. Their special perk is that their whip attacks are more powerful while their dances have a weaker effect but have a larger range. Mestres are shirtless and wears pants, and are barefeet. Because of the dancer guild being primarily female and to protect the women from men, only men whose passion it is IS dancing are admitted to become Mestres. Mestres are distinctly good at Capoeira and Breakdancing.

NOTES
- Bards and Minstrels are not limited to ballads. Soul Encore, for example, sings rock, emocore, metal and rock and roll themed songs and yes, they are allowed to sell records.
- Dancers and Gypsies are also not limited to ceremonial dance movements. They may also breakdance, dance hip-hop, funk, soul, L.A and even Capoeira.
- Members of the show are also skilled at art (like painting) and handicrafts (bracelets, necklaces, etc), weaving, tattoos and piercing. Even Tailoring!
- Taught to know a myriad of languages, even the ones you didn't think they knew! (Like Alex Milteta of the 4th century who knew how to speak PORING)

The Spirit Nomads is the umbrella term that covers the Taekwons and their advanced classes, the mighty Star Gladiators and the serene Soul Linkers. Originally, they were the warriors sanctioned by the neutral nations, specifically Lou Yang. They train in solitude and their teachings are highly kept secret. Anyone training with them can expect a life like that of a monk in a monastery. Balancing physical fitness with a sound mind and peaceful soul. Soul Linkers also provide ways for people to contact the dead.

Like the The Show, they have two guild masters, depending on which path a Taekwon Kid would like to pursue.

The Ninjas are Amatsu's version of Morroc's Assassins. Just as secretive as they are, Ninjas assume various guises to keep their secret life of assassination, sabotage and espionage under wraps. The greatest distinction of the Ninjas against the other "shadow classes" is their ability to use magic along with their assassination, sabotage and espionage skills. Coined as "Magic Assassins", they use trickery to confuse opponents and silent precision to deliver the final blow.

While the training regiment of Ninjas are extremely well guarded secret, rumor has it a novice may go to a certain house in Morroc to become a ninja.

Kage, The Kage is the head of the Shinobi-do.

[1] SHADOW EYE - The Shadow Eye is the guildmaster of the Shinobi-do. This Ninja/Kunoichi is extremely skilled.

Ninja Ranks Ranks are based on the Ninja's skill.

[1] RUBY MOON - 2nd in command and directly supports the Shadow Eye
[1] EMERALD MOON - 3rd in command and handles protection of the Shinobi-do society.

The Weapons Development Center is the center for today's post archaic needs. These include, but is not limited to, invention of new weapons, creation of automatas and other robotic devices and research and development on alternative sources of fuel and energy. While the whole regiment of training of the Weapons Development center can be likened to a school, each student is as skilled as a smith with metal works and as curious as any chemist out there. Graduates from the Weapons Development center go on to become Gunslingers, the embodiment of the weapons developed by the center.

Novices yearning to become gunslingers must simply look for the Center itself.
