Arc I: New Horizons

Midgard
The ruler of Rune-Midgard has extended renewed diplomatic approaches to the Wootan Kingdom of Umbala as well as the neutral nations. The kingdom has never been more prosperous and peaceful, and everyone agrees that this age might just be Rune-Midgard's prime. But there are whispers too, among the various guilds - isn't a kingdom's peak always followed by it's decline?

The Assassins' Guild and Stalkers' Guild of Morroc have brought a halt to their monthly guild wars due to the eccentric activities of the beasts of the Sograt Desert.

Tae Kwons, Tae Kwon Masters and Soul Linkers have reported strange spiritual bursts from their own local dungeons, and soon enough people in Alberta have started reporting that the famed Sunken Ship appears closer than ever to the city.

So far the City of Magic has remained quiet, but tension is among the members of the Arcana, as if they are bracing for something...but they don't know what.

Schwarzwald
The Rekenber Corporation has opened a whole new franchise - the so called Somatology Laboratories, where the best and brightest minds of all continents can collaborate and compete with various feats on science and magic. The Rekenber Corporation has also sponsored the opening of the Kiel Hyre Academy, and grants scholarships for the first time to Midgard citizens and citizens of the neutral nations.

Meanwhile Einbroch and Einbech only get dirtier and poorer.

The new President of Yuno comes to the start of her term and is determined to explore further the dungeons of the land, and has put up a staggering monetary reward for any party who finds, clears and opens the legendary places of Juperos and Abyss Lake.

Arunfeltz
King al-Belzebub of the Arunfeltz Royal Family still has not chosen an offical heir after his son, whose name has been kept well under wraps, vanished from the land more than a hundred years ago. Rachel has opened its doors to explorers, but tension, doubt and racism remain rampant.

Adventurers are more eager to explore the Ice Dungeon, to see what opportunities lie in wait in the ice.

Arc II: City of Darkness

Midgard
The mysterious aggressiveness of monsters seemed to have abated, and citizens and adventurers alike are swept by relief. Seals are renewed, MVP monsters put back in their proper lairs and places, and the Kingdom of Rune-Midgard seeks to establish again it's peace and prosperity. King Tristram has decreed and sent ambassadors to the neutral nations.

Morroc, the Frontier, has become exciting once more due to the resumption of the monthly guild wars.

In Payon the Tae Kwons and Soul linkers report peace and stability in the energies of nature.

However, trouble brews in the City of Magic, as mages and even some wizards and high wizards are purportedly collapsing from 'anemia' and stress...

Schwarzwald
The magnate Kathrynne Keyron has formally announced the opening of the Lighthalzen Somatology Laboratories, which is hoped to 'provide and assist research to the Republic of Schwartzwald and other participating nations and provide technologies and innovations that will take civilized life into new heights.'

Qualified persons from the magic, chemist and other classes rush to get into positions, jostling with scientists and indie inventors. But there are reports that Kathrynne Keyron's relationship with her older brother Galen is down on the rocks.

Another momentous decision that would seem to affect economy is the coming into partnership of Rekenber Corp. and Kiel Hyre Corp., and Kiel Hyre Jr. unveils the next explosive piece of technology for the next hundred years: the Agit Guardians.

But despite this show of prosperity, the slums of Lighthalzen, and the polluted cities of Einbroch and Einbech experience sub-human conditions of living and employment, and seem to get worser every year...

There is also unrest in the Odin's Temple near Hugel as witnesses say Valkyries are preparing to wage war.

Under King Razekiel al-Belzebub's blessing, Thor Camp also opens it's doors to qualified chemists, smiths and engineers from neighboring nations to join in it's newest geology projects....

Also, investigations have been restarted to search for the missing people who were killed by Gloom Under Night as well as a manhunt for the said monster.
