Side Plot- Linking of Tribes

The two shifter tribes/clans-the Amberleaf and Blackvine-have been rivals for many a year. No one knows what really happened, the cause of the rivalry is long forgotten. But they remain aggressive nonetheless.

about a hundred or so years ago events occurred that would set something larger into action. The king of Amberleaf had passed away, leaving the queen to rule the throne alone. She had a son, but was constantly worried about him. She would often go out into the surrounding woods to relax and get away from the stress of everyday life.

Another shifter, of the Blackvine tribe, also liked to take walks in the woods. His brother was king of the tribe, but had no children. The shifter was married, he had a wife and a son.

The two shifters met out there in the woods. They fell in love, and would meet with one another out in the forest at least once a week. If either was caught, it would mean trouble for both.

The queen of Amberleaf gave birth to a small baby girl many months later. The child looked extremely similar to the father, if she was seen then everyone would know of what happened. So, the next time she and the other met, she begged him to take the child. When that didn't work, she forced the child into his arms and ran off. The Amberleaf tribe, however, was able to discover what she had done. She was sent into exile, and her nephew has been placed in charge of the throne until her son comes of age.

Needless to say, when the father returned home with the child his wife was less than happy. He was exiled by his older brother, and was never heard of again. The child, however, was kept. Her maternity remained unknown.

Fu Blackvine and Wasp Amberleaf had known each other during this time. The two met while playing in the woods, and over time became best friends.

After Fu learned the truth about their tribes, however, he ran away from home, leaving his bracer, copper ranked with a crystal embedded to show his relation to the royal family, behind. His half-sister, Li, found this bracer.

By this time the families had managed to figure out what had happened. Li knew that Wasp and Fu were her brothers. She went to Wasp and told him what had happened. The two decided to go after Fu together, to bring him home.

Leaving the forest is forbidden, but they had to take the chance.

Plot Status: Fu is still nowhere to be found, Li has been captured, and Wasp is on his way to rescue Li.

Past events- Li left the forest before Wasp, getting the two separated. Li is spotted wandering in Twilight Forest. Wasp meets up with the person who saw his sister, teaches them to fly in exchange for the whereabouts of his sister. Li, drawn into a trap, is captured by the Starlight Knights.

Future- Where is Fu? Will Wasp be able to free Li without being caught himself? What other plans are in store?
