Favorite Episodes? Hard to say at this point. As the show goes along, whatever episode I work on becomes my favorite! Sounds like a cop out answer, but it's true!! I'm excited about ILL SUITED because it picks up RIGHT where the feature ended (is that a spoiler?) - and it's cool to have worked on the episode that bridges the feature to the series.

I believe we've known that it picks up from StD for months now.

Whoa there, Brian! I'm giving away "Daddy's little girl" in January biggrin.gif , and there's still lots to do between now and then. I'm just hoping Season Four doesn't kick off the 12th and/or 13th. Otherwise, I'm at the mercy of my DVR. dubiety.gif

Oh, and welcome aboard! It's a privilege and a pleasure to have you join us. smile.gif

This... should be interesting. wink.gif

You might be the wrong person to ask, but do you know if they've changed the drawing "styles" slightly from S3? Mr. Loter told us he does that nearly every season.
Not to sound rough, but after the great efforts in "Emotion Sickness" and "Steal Wheels," the animation quality of S3 ("Team Impossible and "And the Molerat..." come to mind here) crashed and burned for me. sad.gif

Excellent! biggrin.gif Have they fixed the high pitch of Kim's and (especially) Ron's voices from the later part of S3 and "So the Drama?"

Which might be argument enough for MAD DOGS & ALIENS to be a fave, because Shego and Drakken have some great business in that one.

That sounds pretty sweet! I have to remember to catch that one (along with...well, every other Season 4 episode wink.gif ).

Mad Dogs & Aliens, huh? Sounds great!

Reading that title, though, I could imagine a possible scenario... a "flying saucer" landing in the middle of a football game, and the announcement on the PA: "Err, ladies and gentlemen, due to the sudden alien invasion, tonight's game against the Lowerton Lemurs has been postponed! Now, SOMEBODY GET ME OUT OF HERE!!!"

(Oh, yeah, where are my manners? Must've left them on the dance floor last night...)

Let me be the latest to welcome you to the ARA, Mr. Swenlin! laugh.gif

"Mad Dogs & Aliens" sort of reminds me of Invader Zim, and Gir in his dog suit. laugh.gif

(Now there's a interesting crossover. KP/IZ.)

It's really hard to pick... there's not a bad one in the bunch! wink.gif

It's also hard to say because right now I can only really go by the scripts - there's been no animation back at this point and I haven't even seen most of the story boards - so it's hard to judge what the scripts will ultimately turn into on the screen. But the voice tracks are all sounding (not surprisingly) great. Christy and Will are at the top of their game - as is the rest of the cast. A great pleasure to have you, Mr. Swenlin. Always a thrill when someone conneted with the show allows us to share our love of the show with him or her. Bienvenido!

Thanks again for all the hospitality - you guys are great!

Another favorite, I've got to say... is TRADING FACES, written by Kim Duran. The storyline with Ron and Barkin (which involves close quarters) is great stuff. She also did a great job of handling our new villainess.

And BIG BOTHER, written by Greg Weisman, not only is a big (and I mean BIG) episode for Ron, but it might also see the return of a certain animal related villain. And big action/emotional story aside - it's got a hilarious running gag invovling a certain cooking staple.

Gee, could I be more vague? tongue.gif

I want to keep talking - there are so many episodes that I'm looking forward to seeing this season! So far I'm just talking about episodes I've had a hand in, one way or another, but I'm also a huge fan of the all the Thomas Hart scripts - great story editor, that Tom.

Hey, Brian, now that you're here, can you confirm or deny that this is really Kurt Weldon? I suspect it is, but I'd rather be safe than sorry.

You're giving Steve a run for his money rolleyes.gif Many thanks for coming by, these insights are really whetting my apetite for the next season, I've been going into withdrawl myself. I really wish Disney had marketed a comic book for the series.

Steve's been busy working on two shows at once (one that's already shown to be great, and one that's looking to be awesome), so I think we can give him a little break on his S4 info.

Either way, though, this info is really enticing. Thanks for the insight, Mr. Swenlin. These episodes really sound amazing.

I'm just hoping against hope that this doesn't turn out to be another "ATMRWBCGI"...

Made to wait, and wait, and wait... while the episode itself is hyped... and hyped... and hyped... and then, when you finally get to see it, it turns out to be sub-par to even the average KP episode. At least "OBoyz" had decent animation. dry.gif

I don't know what's so bad about "CGI". Yeah, it was hyped, but that's because it ended up being the last season 3 episode aired in the US. The irony of your post is that "Oh Boyz" and "CGI" were animated by the same studio (Starburst).

"...And it vexes me so."

I seem to be more-or-less alone in this (and maybe I should stop before I seem like I'm whining), but except for "ES" and "SW," the animation of S3 seemed progressively degraded compared to S1 and S2. Everything seemed to flatten out and gain color brightness. I for one found it stunning that the same studio that brought the dark, moonlit tones of Fisk's mansion hallway in "MFS" also brought us the garnish look of "ATMR...," "TI," and for some part "GF."

Three cheers for Rough Draft Korea Co., Ltd!

EDIT: But then, what do I know? The fans have seen none of the new animation; heck, even the *producers* haven't seen it! Just as quickly Starbust dived, they could regain their top spot with a first episode that looks to be just blazin'. Who knows; S4 could rock our bloody socks off.

"All right stop collaborate and listen;
Starburst's back with a brand new mission...!"
