Rules

Here are some simple rules to follow.

Posting

1. Keep your post neat. Do not apply too many text effects.
2. Text should be read-able. Do not use colors that are too light to be viewed on this skin.
3. Try to sound educated. Use proper grammar. Avoid chatspeak. We understand if English is not your first language, and everyone makes typos. Try your best, and remember: The edit button is your friend!
4. Do not use excessive profanity. A little is ok, but not a lot. Never use the F Word.
5. Do not post nudity or violence in text, images, or links.
6. Do not post links to vampire sites, etc.
7. Do not trash a country, culture, enthnic group, race, government, belief, religion, or individual.
8. Do not discuss religion or politics. This just leads to hurt feelings, anger, and more work for the mods. The mods don't like work.
9. Do not spam. Spam is anything that does not contribute to a topic or the forums. If you think its against the rules, ask a mod or admin.
10. Do not flame, attack, harass, or spam another member. If you have a conflict with another member, try to work it out in a mature manner via PM. If someone is bothering you, report them to a mod or admin.
11. Do not discuss illegal activites or anything involving drugs. If its about alcohol, killing, drub abuse, etc., don't post it.
12. Do not use sexuality (gay, fag, etc.) or mental handicap (retard) as an insult. This is offensive to some people.
13. Do not beg for real-life items. This includes money, My Coke Rewards codes, a DS, games, or anything else.
14. Do not beg for items in a video game or online game. This includes currency in a game, game items, wins/loses, and anything else.
15. Do not discuss hacking. Hacking is not only against our rules, but also against the InvisionFree TOS that you agreed to when you registered.
16. Do not bump.
17. Do not make a post slamming the admins and mods. This makes admins and mods angry. Remember, we know where the "Ban" button is!
If you have a constructive critizisim, PM a mod or admin.


Personal Messaging System

1. Do not abuse the mass PM feature.
2. Do not flame/spam/harass via PM.
3. Do not advertise via PM.
4. Do not PM anyone begging to wifi. Asking is ok, begging is not.
5. Do not beg for ACWW bells or items via PM.
6. Do not PM an admin or mod to make a fake report.
7. Do not break any of the rules for posting.
8. Do not break the InvisionFree TOS.

Trading

1. Do not post in someone's trade topic saying you don't have them item they're looking for. That is called spam.
2. Do not trade hacked items.
3. Do not be rude. This includes any time during the trade process.
4. Do not scam, lie, cheat, etc. If you are caught scamming, you'll get a ban.
5. Do not beg.
6. Do not post a topic selling items you don't have, even if you don't have bad intentions. After an item is bought, use the edit button.
7. Do not destroy or attempt to destroy someone's town. Leave your axe at home. Don't run, take flowers or fruit, pick up patterns, or dig up stars without permission.
8. Do not outstay your welcome. If the host asks you to leave, leave.
9. Do not ask for more items. Unless, of course, you're paying for them!
10. Do not steal. If you see an item on the ground, ask before you take it.

Admin and Mod Rules

1. This forum is not your gueania pig. Don't test anything here. If you want to see how something works, register a test board at our forum host's site, Invision Free.
2. Do not ban an innocent member. Try to find out as much as you can before taking action.
3. Do not make major changes without permission. This includes edits to the skin, new categories, and changes to the rules.
4. Do your best to stop spam.
5. Don't abuse your power. Unless you are the boss, root admin, user numero uno, the creater of all things good and ACWW Palladium, you can't really destroy this site.
6. Don't even try to hack the root admin acount. This is a way to get your email address, IP, and account BANNED.
7. Be considerate of new users. If someone is having trouble finding the edit button, doesn't know how to do something, help them.
8. Do not make other members staff without permission. New staff members must have a majority vote before recieving powers.

Usergroups

1. Don't ask to be promoted. Good behavior, helpfulness, etc. will get you were you want to be.
2. At 1,000 posts, a member becomes one of the elite and will be given accsess to the elite only forum.
3. Mods watch a certain board(s). They make sure no spam or fighting appears.
4. Global Mods watch the entire site. They have the same jobs as regualar mods.
5. Admins have the jobs of mods. Admins must also keep the site running. Admins must create forums, categories, etc. Admins are busy people.
6. Be respectful of those with a higher rank than you. And lower ranks too. And the same rank as you. Rank doesn't give you the right to belittle someone.



I bet you're wondering how you're going to remember all that. Lets just say, if you think its bad, wait before you post it.

Also, please do not mini-mod. If someone has done something wrong i.e. posted in the wrong forum, then tell them where it should be with a link.

If a mod has not seen in within around 2 hours, please PM a staff member to inform us on a problem. Do NOT deal with it yourselves.
