Hmm, taking a quick look at the models makes me think Friday night could be an interesting night for NS. Excellent lift values associated with a short wave and cloud-top cooling is starting to make me tingle a bit. :D
Watch for Friday afternoon storms over portions of NB. |

I have to say I'm not as enthusiastic about tonight as I was when I created this post, but I still have to say a few showers or thundershowers are likely tonight and overnight for NS. Should not be a widespread event though. Afternoon storms likely today over northern NB.
Saturday afternoon should bring some scattered showers and storms to NB, PEI, northern NS and Cape Breton, but I don't see other areas of NS getting in on the action. Sunday may bring an isolated shower or storm to primarily NS, and primarily in the south and along the coast. Monday for the most part looks nice, but Monday night will bring a decent chance of showers and storms during the overnight, especially for NS. |

Looks like there's a couple of beauties near Edmundston, NB and Caribou, ME right now.

Yep, Bill should have went to Grand Falls today, he's planning a chase there tomorrow. I will be keeping an eye out tonight, and likely heading about 30min north tomorrow afternoon for some possibilities over central NS. I could be trying to squeeze orange juice from a lemon though. |

Yep, I should have as well - it's only an hour from here. A couple have popped up in the Millinocket area WSW of here in the past few minutes. They'll likely die before reaching here, though. :( |

Yes, one of them just passed through in the last few minutes.... not much of a storm, but better than nothing, I guess. |
