It seems to be consitent that a low will try to intensify once it gets to the maritimes maybe some snow in northern new brunswick and strong winds and rain for the rest. ? Discuss |

http://wxcaster4.com/nam/CONUS_ETA212_SFC_...UCHERA_72HR.gif shows the snowfall predicted by the NAM extending through the 'event'. northern NB could have some white poop.

Once again I think the forecast is bogus.. 5 ~10 mm tonight ?? Ill eat my shorts if someone in southern NS doesn`t see 40 if not 50 mm and I think 60 kmh wind is to low I would bet on 80 kmh mabey 90kmh...

Unless there's a strong high pressure nearby there won't be much wind, need pressure difference to get wind. sometimes you seem a lame 1000 mb low but the winds are higher when there's a strong high nearby. |

Heavy wind-swept rain for most of the morning. Can't say how much fell, but the streams were running strong.
