Yes, there's definitely no shortage of them. I used to find them to be a nuisance, especially when they were squawking at 5:00 am outside my window in summer. Then I saw a show about them on Discovery Channel a few years ago..... fascinating critters as it turns out..... :)

If you want to see attitude, I suggest walking near any of Acadia's residences with food in your hand. It's gotten to the point that campus security issues periodic bulletins about aggressive (brazen) crow attacks.

We have had a few different birds since the last couple of storms hit the Eastern US...I did not get a pic f the first odd one, but here is this one...Perhaps some kind of Grosbeak?...Regardless I have not seen one like this in my yard before...
