A little late posting my March summary, but here goes...
In contrast to the Maritimes, no unusual warmth around these parts last month. In fact, the month averaged slightly cooler than normal, and featured the coldest day of the winter early in the month. Temperatures were actually not much warmer than they were in February. Snowfall was near normal but precipitation was below thanks to below normal rainfall. We reached our peak snow-depth of the season of 81 cm on the 7th. That's the lowest max winter snow depth since 2000.
