Learn a little about them here. I have always found their "garage sound" to be quite interesting. They had an album out a long time ago called "Queens of the Stone Age" and after their breakup one of the members went on to help form the band "Queens of the Stone Age", that is how they got their name. The lead singer of Kyuss went on to form a band called "Mondo Generator", also the name of a Kyuss tune. Tool performed a live cover of a Kyuss song called "Demon Cleaner". That is how I heard about them, Maynard said they gave him a lot of inspiration for the sound that Tool first came out with. Here is the video for "One Inch Man" on their album "...and the Circus leaves Town" Here is the video for "Thong Song" |
