| QUOTE (Hayleigh Morgan Tyler) | TYLER, HAYLEIGH
AGE Sixteen; EDUCATION Junior in Highschool; OCCUPATION Unemployed
PERSONALITY: Hayleigh Tyler is the kind of girl to get herself into trouble because she can. If you wanted two words to describe Hayleigh chances are anyone who knows her would supply you with Wild and Child. Hayleigh is the youngest of four children and seeing as how her older siblings were all perfect princes and princesses Hayls wanted to break the role young. Hayls likes to be in the spot light and because of her want, and need, for attention she'll do just about anything to get it.
Hayls is a naturally spontaneous person and is also very bubbly when it comes to meeting her peers. It runs in the Tyler blood to be willing to talk to anyone that you meet on the street. But it also runs in the Tyler blood to know how to hold a grudge, and hold it good. Hayls is a truly nice person, but if you rub her the wrong way you may want to stay 500 feet away.

| QUOTE (Alby Renna Court) | COURT, ALBY
AGE Fifteen; EDUCATION Sophmore in Highschool; OCCUPATION Unemployed
PERSONALITY: Three word that would be used to describe Alby Court is fun, unpredictable, and free-spirited. She has a way a reeling you in with her bubbly personality and slight hint of procativness. Never will you meet someone who's got a bigger smile than Alby. She can find the bright side of anything, and often does. You know those girls in those pictures where they're smiling on the beach and the sun his bright on their face? That would be Alby. She doesn't quite care what people think of her, and she's always doing something that's catching people's attention, whether it's on purpose or without her even trying. She likes to let look, let her hair down, and feel the breeze on her face. Seeing as she is a rich kid, she really doesn't have much to care about. She likes walking barefoot in the street or dancing in the rain, and she lives every moment in life like it's her last. People are drawn to Alby because of her charismatic nature and her ability to make anyone laugh. At the same time, it's very well known that Alby a tease and extremely seductive for her age. To her it's all fun and games, but it can be quiet convincing. There's nothing more fun to her than messy with someone head, whether it's in the sexual way or just a casual way. It's all a little bit of fun. Nothing makes her more entertained than the thrill of the chase, so it's likely that she'll go for something that's a challenge. She doesn't go the for easy way out of things. That is something that's for sure about Alby.
BACKGROUND HISTORY: Alby Renna Dailey was born to Aimee Hunter-Court & Cole Court just fifteen years ago in Billington, Illinios, a wealthy suburb just outside of Chicago. And from the start, Alby was given everything on a silver plater. She was wearing designer cloths when she was just in preschool, and even her shoes had been custom made for her. Her mother was the heiress to a huge fortune back in Canada, where her father ran a very successful business firm. But Alby was well off long before her mother ever inherited her grandfather's business, because she married to a very famous lead singer of a band, and his fortune only grew after the band retired and he made his own record company, one that has grown extensively over the years. And so for the first 5 years of her life, she lived in Evanston and was given more than she could ever ask for. But then her mom's dad died and the only way for her to collect his money was to go back to Canada and take over the family business. And so they did just that. Or Aimee did, anyway. Cole stayed in Evanston, promising to come down and visit whenever he could, which (as they would find out later), wasn't very often.
When Alby moved to Toronto, she moved into her grandfather's old estate. It was HUGE, to say the least. Instead of being like most kids and having her own room, Alby had her own floor! Three connected room that were all her own, and one of the rooms was one of the three master bedrooms inside of the estate. The girl definately had it all. Alby's money made a impression on the other students. It made her extremely popular, but it also made her extremely envied. There was a bully in her fourth grade class that always made fun of her and called her names because she was rich. But Alby never let it get her down. She was always that little girl who didn't care what other people thought of her, and she would do things her way, and think outside of the box in the process. Because that's just how she was. She liked to be a leader, and she was excellent at it. Further more, she was seriously charismatic and intruging. She was always a teacher favorite, and people were always telling Aimee that she was a bright young girl. But as Alby got older her parents got more and more out of her life. By the time she was in junior high it was just her and the housemaids. She found comfort in them, even though there were constantly new ones coming in and out of the house. Though her mother was a reasonable woman as soon as she found out one was getting close to Alby she let them go. She always told Alby that all she was doing was replacing her, and one day Alby told her that in order for her to be replaced she had to be around. That's when Alby and her mom got on the outs.
Alby started to rebel a little bit more. She was more wild, and she wasn't afraid to push limits and get into trouble. She began too drink at the house, and even more at parties, and she even picked up light smoking. But even more, her clothing got just a bit more revealing. No, not too the point where she could be called a slut, but still to the point where it was noticable. Heavy make-up was everyday wear and her naturally blonde hair was now a deep brown. She would do anything just to make her mother squirm. And it wasn't like Alby's dad was a help. Whenever she went up to visit him he let her party with his ex bandmates' kids who where her age or older, and her pictures got into magazine down in the US. Whenever Aimee would tell she was getting out of control, Cole would claim that she was being a drama queen, and Alby was just expressing herself. He liked his daughter becoming rebellious. Afterall, he was a rockstar, and now she was just walking in his footsteps. It was definite that she was growin gup just a little too fast but after a little bit she calmed down. She was still a rebel, but she stopped doing the littlest thing just to piss her mom off. Now she did things out of pure creativity. She because experimenting with hairdye, and she started dying the under layers of her hair different colors every once in a while. Currently, however, the undercolor is purple, her favorite color.
Now she attends Degrassi, and she is a sophmore. She's known as the school rebel. or the biggest girl rebel anyways. Everybody is a little afraid of her, but not much since she's really nice for a rebel. She gets along with just about everybody, and she's quite the social butterfly. This year though, she has her eye on a guy. And it's not just anyone, it's her housemaid's son, Reed Monroe. Where will it go? Who knows.

| QUOTE (Grace Alexis Rose) | BLAIR, GRACE
AGE Eighteen; EDUCATION Freshman at University; OCCUPATION Unemployed
PERSONALITY: Grace is a sweet girl, one of the few left in existance. She's also very innocent, a fact that many find shocking. She's done a few bad things, at one point, she was quite the rebel. But after a lot of drama, she decided that she had to straighten up. Because she's afraid to fall into her old habits, she's a bookworm. She barely talks to anyone, for fear of getting sucked into some web of destruction. Those that she does talk to are generally the kind of people that you'd want to bring home to your parents, the kind of kids that parents wish their children would befriend instead of the ones they actually do. So yes, she is a bit of a loser, a bit of a nerd.
But underneath the good girl exterior, there's a troubled soul. She finds it hard to get close to people, because she's terrified that they'll find out the things she did when she was younger. She's afraid of being judged on her past, afraid that someone that could've been a friend would make it where they hate her, just because of who she used to be.
There are a few things about Grace that few people ever know. One is that she's a hopeless romantic. Despite the bad boyfriends she's had, ones into her only hoping to get her virginity (which she still has), she's still holding out for her knight in shining armor. She's also an optimist. She knows from experience that when you hit your lowest, things can only go up. She believes the best in people, despite the fact that she thinks that they'll end up hating her for who she was. She doesn't judge people and is a great listener. She's the kind of friend that everyone wants, but few are actually worth. It takes a lot to become Grace's friend, but when you do, you have a friend for life.
BACKGROUND HISTORY: Grace Alexis Rose was born on February 14, 1989. Her parents found her a complete blessing because they'd had three miscarriages. She was their last hope of ever having a child. When they looked into her big blue eyes, they fell head over heels in love with her. Grace's parents, Natalie and Wesley Rose, were both music producers in Seattle. They were the perfect parents, despite the fact that they had to leave their daughter with baby-sitters every now and then. It killed them both every time they had to leave their little Grace with a baby-sitter. It came down to it and Natalie decided that she didn't need to help around the studio. Instead, she became a house wife, devoting all of her time to her daughter.
Grace had a happy childhood. She had all the creature comforts she could want, and she was always surrounded with friends. Most of them were friends with her because whoever was hot that year played at her birthday party. She has young pictures of her with the Spice Girls, Backstreet Boys, and all the other pop bands. It wasn't until she reached the seventh grade that she learned that she wasn't actually popular. She was in the bathroom of the private school she went to and overheard a group of people, people she thought were her friends, calling her stuck up and saying other mean things. She emerged from the stall and then told them that they could forget her birthday party. It was that moment that changed Grace, if she had to choose just one, one catalyst.
After that moment, Grace told her parents to not book bands for her parties anymore. She started to hang out with a new crowd, crowds that hated pop music, hated teachers, hated school, hated everything. She wanted to fit in, so she shed the good girl image. She started to wear make up and shorter skirts. Her mother wouldn't let her wear make up before that, so she started to take it to school, sneaking around. Her new friends loved her, loved that they had corrupted the sweetheart. But they didn't find the corruption complete until her eighth grade year. The first time they got her drunk. She liked the feeling so much that she started to drink more and more often, until the point in the middle of her freshman year she realized that she didn't go a day without drinking.
While she was spiriling down a path littered with parties and alcohol, her parents marriage was spiriling out of control as well. Her father was seeing someone else, a boy someone. He came out of the closet and Grace's mother kicked him out of the house. The night they announced their divorce was Grace's first time doing drugs. She called up Talina, her best friend in the bad group, and snuck out of her bedroom window. She cried in Talina's arms for hours and then Talina said she had something to make her feel better. That something was marijuana and it worked. But the day her father left Seattle, two months later, weed didn't work. So Talina introduced her to cocaine. That did the trick.
All the way through Grace's senior year in high school, she was trying different drugs. But she always came back to three: cocaine, acid, and weed, not to mention the alcohol. Her mother, who'd become a workaholic since Wesley came out of the closet, didn't even notice that her daughter was spiriling down a very dark path. Not until she came home one day and found her daughter overdosed in the hallway. Grace couldn't even make it to her bedroom before collapsing from all the chemicals in her system. That day, her mother almost lost her daughter.
From there, Grace went to rehab. There she met Cameron Michalchuk, a fellow addict. She talked to Cameron every day, they were in the same group. She could feel herself starting to fall for him, but he kept talking about this girl back home. This girl named Cacie Cameron. Not to mention, relationships between patients were frowned upon. So she settled on being his friend. Then, three months after being sent to rehab, three months into knowing Cameron, she graduated. She left the blonde boy there and hasn't talked to him since. But she has thought about him a lot. He helped her with her music, with staying sober. The night that she left the clinic, she swore to him that she'd stay sober. He promised the same. She has no clue if he kept the promise.
After getting out of rehab, Grace went to summer school. She stopped talking to her friends back home, except for Talina. Talina was the only one that supported her decision to stay sober. Talina didn't sober up, but she did stop doing drugs around Grace. Until one night when Talina overdosed in Grace's room. Grace was traumatized at the death of her best friend. She told her mother that she was moving to Toronto, where her father lived with his partner. Her mother, while devastated, understood. Seattle held too many memories for her little girl. And it meant that there'd be someone to keep her sober, someone to support her.
Now, Grace is a freshman at University of Toronto. She lives on campus but visits her father all the time. She doesn't talk to many people, if any. She's become completely straight-edge. The most she does is cuss from time to time. She sometimes does think about Cameron, because she vaguely remembered him mention that he was from Toronto. Of course, he'd also told stories about LA in group. She's hoping that she can make her life better, make it where she doesn't relapse now that she's away from her mother. This is her big step, her big test. She's trying to prove to herself that she has what it takes to be sober, completely.

| QUOTE (Sean Ryan Ralston) |
RALSTON, SEAN
AGE Sixteen; EDUCATION Sophmore in Highschool; OCCUPATION Unemployed
PERSONALITY: Sean Ralston, the big man of campus, well for the underclassman of Degrassi Community School. He's the kind of guy at a school you love or you hate, there is no if ands or buts about it. He's very popular and if you don't know him, you must be new to the school. Sean knows he has an attitude, but in his opinion he deserves to have it, he is the fabulous Sean Ralston after all, how could he not?
Deep down though, Sean is a pretty guarded guy and doesn't ever let anyone in on his painful past, mainly because he doesn't want anyone to think he's weak. He doesn't want to give up his spot as king of the school, or future king of the school. In his group you can see a little bit of a different side to him. He's protective of his friends. For someone with as big of an ego as Sean has, he sure makes sure his friends, including his best friend and right hand man Luke Andrews, are never touched. Especially his girls Brooke Rossman, Hailey McGraw, and Grace Murray.
The whole school knows that they are his girls and you don't get to do anything with one of the inner crowd's girls unless you get direct permission from Sean. He simply won't see any of them hurt. Sean loves his friends, not that he would actually be with any of them. He's a bit of a play boy and he cares too much about the three to just sleep with him. Sean has never wanted an actually relationship because he's afraid of them. Mainly because of his past. It's just how Sean is. Deep down Sean is just a scared little boy, but you'll never see that.
BACKGROUND HISTORY: Sean Ryan Ralston was born in Toronto, Canada on January 5, 1991. His parents seemed happy, to the world around them of course. Even to Sean for the first couple years of his life, but little did he know that his mother, Heather, was constantly cheating on his father. What Sean didn't know was that his parents were only together because Heather had gotten pregnant. Heather and Sean's father, Henry, were barely even friends in high school. They were the couple that everyone thought would end up together because of their families. In reality, the two were never anything more than fuck buddies. But one day there were complications and Heather got pregnant. Now they planned on just getting an abortion and not telling anyone about what had happened. Of course then the doctor called Heather's house to reschedule her appointment and Heather's house went into an uproar over it. They couldn't believe she was going to do this to their family. Word soon spread to Henry's family and the two were married as quickly as possible. Then Sean was born and Heather would tell you that that was the day her soul died.
The first few years of Sean's life were pretty great. His family loved him and loved each other. He was smart and athletic boy from the beginning. Getting into soccer, football, and basketball as soon as he was able to hold/kick a ball. His father loved it. His son was going to make him proud. His mother on the other hand, her love seemed to wane as he got older. As he grew, he started looking more and more like his father and that made Heather hate her son as much as she hated his father. By the time Sean was 10, his mother had had enough. She couldn't live in the house anymore with those men who made her sick. Her son was becoming a miniature version of her husband and she couldn't handle it. One night she got completely smashed and went into Sean's room, telling him how he had ruined her life and how much she hated him and her father. She told him that she wished she had gotten an abortion, because he was a stupid little mistake and that she never loved him. That was the last night Sean had ever seen his mother and he never spoke about that night again.
In school Sean never talked once about his mother's leaving and at home things ended up getting better. His father had never seemed happier, though he did start becoming more and more distant with Sean. Though by the time this started happening, Sean didn't really care because he was at that age where he didn't want to be around his parents anyways. About a year after Sean's mother left, his dad re-married a woman that had always been around as one of his dad's 'friends'. Sean liked her, so it didn't really bug him much.
In school Sean's many sports and musical talents made him quite a popular guy and he loved it, embracing it fully. Before long Sean became the guy everyone sees. Completely confident and full in line to become the next 'big man on campus' and he has no problem with this. And of course, he was very popular with the ladies, which he's never had a problem with either. Especially since they all know that now he isn't exactly a one girl kind of girl. He doesn't really trust girls, with his heart anyways. He would much rather just hook up and leave them the next day, you know no fuss no muss. He doesn't like to admit that his mother broke him, but she did. She made him never want a stable women in his life so that no one could ever tell him that he was a mistake again. He never wants someone to pretend to love him again and that's how he does it. You can't love someone if you never get close enough to them to love them, so that's how Sean protects his heart, but no one knows that.
Lately however, Sean has been getting more and more interested in Dre Hill. Which is not good for Sean because she is good friends with probably the one guy in school that Sean truly hates, Caleb Miller. Sean doesn't want to be into her. She's not exactly his type, but he can't help himself. |

| QUOTE (Reed David Monroe) | MONROE, REED
AGE Eighteen; EDUCATION Senior in Highschool; OCCUPATION Unemployed
PERSONALITY: It'll take some time before you even know half of what is really going on inside of Reed Monroe's brain, and most people give up in the process. He isn't an easy nut to crack - He hates talking about himself, his history, and what bugs him the most. He won't let you know anything unless he finds you a very worthy and genuine person. He likes to listen more than talk, so if you need someone who will listen to what you have to say, Reed is good in that department. He's just an observer, not much of a talker. He comes off as shy and quiet, maybe even stupid or unintelligent. Reed is the total and complete opposite. He's actually incredibly intelligent and a very down-to-Earth person. He has a very good head on his shoulders, and he knows a lot about the philosophy of life. He's very street-smart as well, and he knows a lot about stuff that people only know little of. He likes to stimulate his brain a lot, because he finds that his mind and soul are the only things he can offer to this world. He wants to make something of himself - Not keeping living in the past and with the problems that always follow him.
Reed doesn't talk much, but if he meets a very persistant person who really cares about knowing him, he might give a little. He's sarcastic to the people he doesn't like, and he outwits a lot of people who drive him to insanity. He won't keep his mouth shut if you annoy him or you really really bug him. He doesn't let people step all over him, and he doesn't like people who step all over other people. He's a pretty protective person of the people who are close to him, even the people who get bullied around. Reed is mysterious, which gives him a chick-magnet problem. He doesn't really date though -- He hasn't really found someone worth yet.
BACKGROUND HISTORY: It started with Melanie Hopeford and Gregory Monroe. The problem from the very beginning is that Melanie had no distinction between love, sex, and being used. Gregory's wife died a couple months before he met Melanie, and Gregory was left with 4 children and no bitch to take care of them. Gregory never really loved his first wife. He beat her and the kids after long days at working construction, and drugged all of the money away. He had an addiction, and he wanted nothing but to feed it and feed it. His wife got in a car accident driving drunk, and that was the last of her. Gregory had three sons who were 6,5, and 4, and the 3 year-old was a girl. He needed someone to take care of them so that he could basically live a life without having to lift a finger in their lives. He met Melanie when she was waitressing at a bar, and he made his hardest efforts to score her. One thing led to the next, and only one month later, Melanie moved in with them, having a crappy wedding ring on her finger.
They wasted no time having more children, and year after year for three years, Melanie was pregnant back-to-back. The first child was a girl named Emma, the second was a boy named Nathan, and the baby of the whole family was Reed Monroe. So, altogether they had seven children that Melanie was responsible for taking care of. In order, it was Simon, Andrew, Jeremy, Abby, Emma, Nathan, and Reed. The house was full of kids that were in Elementary school and below -- So it was a complete and total mess trying to take care of them all. They were either fighting 24/7, rough-housing, or puking and pooping all over the place. Melanie was completely stressed out. There was hardly anything to eat with just Greg's income, plus the money he spent on drugs. The kids often only ate one meal everyday, and they were lucky to get that. Greg beat all of his children when they 'supposedly got out of line', and beat Melanie several times when the house wasn't clean enough, or the one meal she prepared wasn't good enough. The kids witnessed, but were sworn to stay silent. Melanie was the most protective of Reed, just because he was the youngest. He made sure everyone looked out for him.
As the years went by, Melanie slowly faded away in the complete and total chaos and Hell that she was put through. She resorted to drugs just like Gregory, and before the kids knew it, all of them had to grow up. The eldest, Simon, had to get a job as soon as he turned sixteen so that he could provide for the family, because their parents couldn't. The rest of the kids took on small jobs, like lawn-cutting and babysitting to put in their own amount of money. Before they knew it, they were running the household. Simon was the father, and Abby, the eldest girl, was the mother -- Taking care of the younger kids, making sure they got food and got them ready for school. Melanie and Gregory became very absent parents. Some nights they just wouldn't come home, and never even tell the kids where they were going or staying. The kids, nonetheless, where happier without them. Melanie usually bitched 24/7, and Gregory hit them. They didn't want them around.
Reed grew up to be very quiet. He looked up to his older brothers and sisters, but he constantly didn't understand why his parents didn't want him. He wanted to show everyone that he was worthy - That he was going to be something, regardless of the mess they were in. So, Reed did excellent in school all of his life, and he really stimulated his mind to thinking outside of the box. He became a very mature young man, and really morphed himself to help people. He became protective of mankind, just because of the things he'd seen in his lifetime, and the Hell that people have been forced to go through - Especially in his own home. Reed became extremely close to his brother Nathan as they grew up, and he became his best friend.
One by one all of the Monroe children moved out and moved on with their lives. The responsibility of taking care of everyone was given to the eldest still living at home whenever one kid moved out. As soon as they were eighteen, they were gone, and hardly came back to visit -- Only letting their brothers and sisters come and visit them. When Reed was sixteen, it was just Emma, Nathan, and himself left. That was the year his mother didn't come home one night -- And just never came back for 5 months. That period of time was the worst for the three of them. Living with just Greg gave them tons of bruises, lots of arguements, and tons of crying. Reed didn't understand why he wasn't good enough - Why his parents didn't see that he was accomplished, and why they didn't love and appreciate him. When his mother finally came home, Emma had turned 18, and was moving out. And suddenly, there was only two left.
When Reed was 17, the worst ever happened. Nathan was killed in a driveby shooting in their neighborhood. He was left alone... He had nobody. His best friend in the entire world was gone. He felt completely stripped of life and emotion, and just completely numb. When Nathan died, Melanie took it hard on herself. It made her realize what a horrible person she was, and she immediately got help. Counciling, rehab trips, AA meetings.. She was doing it all. She wanted to take care of the last child she had, and keep him close to her. Reed helped her get herself clean, and that was that. When Reed finally turned eighteen, just this year, he decided to finish out his school year living with his mother. He had to defend her and be there for her. Just a couple weeks ago, Melanie finally got the nerve to leave Gregory. They got an apartment, and now Melanie and Reed live together, happier than they have ever been.
Melanie has a job as a maid, working in the Court's household. She's had it for two years, and in that time period, Reed met Alby Court. She insanely rich, and her parents are snobs. Reed isn't really allowed to go to Alby's house, but her mom is often out of town on business and etc., and Melanie likes to keep Reed safe, just in case Gregory finds them. So, Reed often goes to their house with his mom. Alby has promised his mother to stay silent about Reed coming over. Reed isn't allowed to talk to her, and she isn't allowed to talk to him. She's only fifteen -- But she's aged beyond her years, as far as Reed can tell. He won't admit it, but he has a slight interest for her, and even though they aren't allowed to talk, they communicate with their eyes when they stare... Stares of interest and curiousity.
