Caridee and Michael had decided to take one last trip to the beach before school time came. Of course the only reason they decided to go to the beach was because that was where they were first met. She looked up at Michael as they were sitting down on the warm sand. "Good times here, huh?" She said with a small smile. Then a thought popped into her head about the first time they met and she laughed. 'He's such a dork, but you gotta love him..well duh you do, wait stop Caridee..'

Michael had been wanting to goto the beach for weeks and when Cari suggested it he was overjoyed. Now they were walking down the beach just soaking up the sun. "Yeah... really good times." Michael smiled down at Caridee. Shes so short.. its cute. Michael took a bite of his cherry snow cone as Straight Up played in his mind. "So do I need to sing for you? Or are you actually OK?" Mike knew Christian was back in town but Cari had told him very little about their meeting

When he asked if she was okay, she couldn't help but to feel horrible about what had happend with Christian. Sure Cairdee wasn't dating Michael, but she knew he was the only thing that would last in her life. But of course she had to go and screw it up. "Singing for me, that would be a big help right now." A weak smile played across her face as she had an urge to hold his hand, but that was something that would make everything awkward, well so she thought. She had no clue how he felt about her, she was oblivious to things like that, which is why things with Christian got so out of hand.

Michael smiled when Cari mentioned that singing Paula Abdul would help her. He'd done it all the time with Cari, this summer it had mostly been after she'd gotten into a tussle with Cacie. He sat down on the sand and tugged at Caridee's hand, they were close enough to the actual water that they could grab damp sand and make a sand castle. Just sitting on the beach with Caridee made Michael remember the fateful day that he met. If Michael didn't believe in destiny before, he sure as hell did now.

Michael went through his list of Paula songs in his mind and tried to decide which one he would sing to Caridee. Sitting here on the beach made him want to sing Straight Up. That was probably because it was the first song he'd ever sang to Caridee on this same beach, and with that thought Michael smiled as he remembered how beautiful Caridee was when he had first seen her. "Lost in a dream," Michael began his singing voice was horrible but it was just Michael of him to sing.

Caridee felt him tub on her hand and she softly fell onto the sand next to Michael. She started to mess aroun with the damp sand, so they could start making a sandcastle. She couldn't help but to think back about when they first met. She thought it was the cutest thing how he had sang Paula Abdul to make her feel getter. He had done it so many times these past few months, but mostly now that he was a big part of her life, she didn't let many things bother her.

She decided to join in with Michael like they had done alot over the summer. It had really become a normal everyday thing for the two, specially when they went on long car rides. "I don't know which way to go.." She sang with a smile on her face.

Michael had been teaching Caridee his favorite Paula Abdul songs this summer, which was actually all of them..., and he'd been singing to her so much they would often sing together. Or jump the lyrics back and forth, it happened mostly during car rides or if Caridee was feeling down. Michael's quirkiness seemed to cheer her up and Michael liked that. He smiled when Caridee joined in, it was nice that they could bond over (of all things) Paula Abdul songs. "If you are all that you seem, then baby I'm moving way to sloww,"

The background music was playing in Michaels mind and he was sitting just watching Caridee play with the sand with a smile on her face. If there was anyone on the beach watching them sitting there then they would know that Michael liked Caridee, it was just a little obvious. But Caridee seemed to be oblivious to the fact that Michael cared for her as much as he did.

Caridee kept the smile on her face. She couldn't help but to smile when she was with Michael. Anyone could tell the two had feelings for eachother, but the two were oblivious of eachothers feelings. Of course, Caridee did a pretty good job of covering it up. It wasn't like she tried, she just wasn't used to guys treating her the way that Michael did. She started to bob back and forth as the music played in her head as well.

"I've been fooled before wouldn't like to get my love caught in the slammin door" She continued to sing back and forth with Michael, just having fun. She was just dancing to the music in her head as she made a sandcastle.

Michael watched Caridee make her sandcastle and decided to build one for himself, he was a sort of competitive person sometimes and he decided to use that right now. His castle would be bigger than Caridee's, he was a lot like a little kid that way. He loved when his toys, er sandcastles, were better than everyone elses. As they sat in the sand building sandcastles there were people walking by constantly but Michael didn't notice all of the people who were walking by, he was too involved in this moment. This sandcastle. This song.

"How 'bout some information pleaseee," Michael loved this song and always thought that it sorta related to him and Caridee. Well, not like he'd ever admit that to her or anyone else in the world. Michael stole a glance at Caridee before looking around the beach. The two didn't care what other people thought and even though there were tons of people watching them sing Michael didn't care.

Every now and then Caridee would look over at Michael. She noticed he started to make a sandcastle as well and smirked. She loved how the two were competitive. They weren't sore losers either, so it worked out for great fun. She started to make her sandcastle bigger and then a wave knocked some of it down. She just laughed softly and started to build the wall back up. "Straight up, now tell me do you really wanna love me forever.." She sang in a happy tone. Sure she had a pretty good voice, but she loved to hear Michael sing. It just made her happy.

Caridee looked up at the people that were walking by them and laughing and she smiled. She loved it when they made people laugh, it just showed the two always had a good time with eachother. They were two crazy kids in love, that wouldn't ever admit it to anyone. She wouldn't even admit it to herself, because honestly love scared her.

"Oh oh oh, or am I caught in a hit and run?" Michael loved this part of the song, he didn't know why but he did. He just loved Paula Abdul, as if that weren't apparent enough, and this song was definitely his favorite. Michael looked at Caridee's sandcastle which had been partly demolished and put his leg in the way of the waves so that it wouldn't happen to him. He felt an awful lot like a little kid in this moment, he used to do this with his mother. Except for that he loved his mom in a different way than he loved Caridee.

Michael looked up at Caridee and caught her eye. Normally his face would've flushed but he'd managed to stop that sort of thing from happening after knowing Caridee for about a month. He was really good at hiding his embarrassment lately and even though he was caught looking at her she was caught looking at him, too.

Caridee watched as he put his leg in the way of the waves and she tried to do the same thing, but her legs weren't long enough. 'Damn being short..' She thought before returning to her own little iPOD of Paula Abdul songs that Michael had taught her. Without realizing it they had taught eachother a lot that summer. "Straight up, now tell me is it gonna be you and me together.." She finally fixed her sandcastle completely as she start to bop around on her toosh while she continued to build it up more.

This part of the song always made her think of her and Michael. It was only because she didn't know he felt the same way she did. Then again part of her did, but wouldn't admit it to herself.

Michael laughed as Cari attempted to put her leg out infront of her castle. "You're so short," He cooed as if he were talking to a baby and not a teenage girl. He shook his head at Cari and moved his leg in time for a wave to come by and crash half of his castle down. Now they were even. Michael looked up at Caridee again and cocked his head to the side. "So do you mind if I ask you what Christian did?" He asked raising a brow slightly.

She hadn't gone into detail, she'd just shown up saying that she really wanted to get out of Toronto because something was bothering her. By the look on her face he could tell that it was Christian, he just hadn't bothered to ask until now.

Caridee watched as Michael moved his leg just in time for the wave to come in. "How nice of you." She said sticking her tongue out at him. She could be such a goof ball around him and she liked that. She just regreted what she had done the other day with Christian. 'Why do you have to be such a whore? You were doing so great until he showed back up.' She thought to herself when she heard him ask about Christian. "He didn't do anything.." She paused and took a deep breath in.

"It's just he was gone all summer and i told you about how i was with him last year." She sighed and looked at Michael. She didn't want to tell him, because she hated that she had done what she did because she liked Michael so much. By the time she finished her sentence she had stopped building her castle because the guilt had caught up to her. "Can we take a walk or something?"
